THIS IS YOUR 32ND TOP 10 AT POCONO AND THIS MIGHT BE THE CRAZIEST EVER. TELL US ABOUT THE END OF THIS RACE
“Well, it would be a long, long list if we talked to a bunch of people in the grandstands and myself, and everybody on pit road and probably people watching at home to find out who was more surprised. That was crazy. I’m so proud of (crew chief) Alan Gustafson and everybody on this AARP Member Advantages Chevrolet. This team fought through a lot. We’ve been fighting hard. We just haven’t been getting the results. Today they stuck with a strategy and it played out. It wasn’t looking good at times, but boy, it sure looked good when we crossed the finish line and got the checkered flag.” Continue reading Chevy Racing–NASCAR–Pocono Post Race

SIMON PAGENAUD, NO. 22 PPG AUTOMOTIVE REFINISH TEAM PENSKE CHEVROLET, FINISHED 3RD: “Well, I was out of push to pass and I knew Dixon had some, and Wilson too. I tried to get a run but it didn’t work out. It was excited to see and I was hoping something would work out for me. But today, I got lucky enough you know. It doesn’t hurt to be lucky, because this season hasn’t been the most lucky overall. But great job by Team PPG and Team Chevy. We had a rough start to the weekend and Team Chevy really took care of us just before qualifying so its nice to get an uplifting emotional feeling I should say. It was a disappointing day for Team Penske but we will bounce back in Pocono because its one of our strengths at the superspeedways. Congratulations to Graham Rahal because honestly, that was a pretty good drive.” Continue reading Chevy Racing–INDYCAR–Mid-Ohio Post Race
