“We just fought a lot of things today. Just really proud of everybody on our Jimmy John’s/Budweiser Chevrolet for fighting back today. We had some handling issues at the beginning of the race and then they were able to really make the car handle a lot better and then we overcame the running out of gas there and we were able to put ourselves back in position up in the front. WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. – (August 9, 2015) – Reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, Kevin Harvick, had to settle for a third-place finish in the CHEEZ-IT 355 at Watkins Glen International when his No. 4 Budweiser/Jimmy John’s Chevrolet SS ran out of fuel on the final lap of the race. Having led 29 of the 90-lap, 220.5-mile event, more than any other driver, Harvick ran dry with just two corners to go. (Aug. 8, 2015) – A week after taking his first career NHRA Pro Stock victory, Chris McGaha was the No. 1 qualifier Saturday after the fourth and final round of qualifying for the NHRA Northwest Nationals at Pacific Raceways. McGaha, in the Harlow Sammons of Odessa Chevrolet Pro Stock Camaro SS, made his final qualifying pass count to take the top spot as Team Chevy drivers took the top five positions in Pro Stock ahead of Sunday’s final eliminations.
