KEVIN HARVICK, NO. 4 JIMMY JOHN’S/BUDWEISER CHEVROLET SS – FINISHED 2ND
WHAT WAS THE DIFFERENCE TODAY?
“We just fought a lot of things today. Just really proud of everybody on our Jimmy John’s/Budweiser Chevrolet for fighting back today. We had some handling issues at the beginning of the race and then they were able to really make the car handle a lot better and then we overcame the running out of gas there and we were able to put ourselves back in position up in the front. The No. 20 (Mat Kenseth) was the class of the field today, but everybody on our Jimmy John’s team did a great job.” Continue reading Chevy Racing–NASCAR–Michigan–Post Race

AFTER THAT DAY YOU HAD YESTERDAY, FULL OF FRUSTRATION, WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO NOW START ON THE POLE AT WATKINS GLEN?
“We can lead to Turn 1 at least. I’m just proud of all my guys; I was frustrated yesterday and I probably wasn’t helping. I was overdriving trying to get more than what we there and I didn’t do a good job yesterday. They saved me. They gave me a good race car. So, going into tomorrow, I feel happy with what we’ve got. But, we’ll see. It’s a tough race. This Kroger/Bush’s Beans Chevy is going to be fast and hopefully we’ll be reliving last year.” Continue reading Chevy Racing–NASCAR–Watkins Glen Qualifying
