WELCOME, N.C. (May 7, 2019) – Tame the Beast®, a trendsetter in the men’s grooming industry that creates products with arousing scents and energizing properties, will make its NASCAR debut through its partnership with Richard Childress Racing on Tyler Reddick’s No. 31 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway this weekend.

Tame the Beast encourages men to embrace their inner beast with their uniquely masculine grooming products. Products include a variety of scents and purposes, such as the Extreme Yawp Hair, Beard & Body Wash, Nutt Butter, and Caffeine Conditioner. The Nashville, Tennessee-based company uses all-natural, intense botanicals, including eucalyptus, ginseng, and pomegranate, in all of their products.

Reddick made his NASCAR Cup Series debut earlier this year in the Daytona 500, finishing 27th after being caught up in a major wreck late in the race. The defending NASCAR Xfinity Series champion is currently leading the points in the 2019 Xfinity Series season, capturing one win, two pole awards, eight top-five and nine top-10 finishes so far this year.

Tame the Beast, whose motto is to “Groom Boldly™,” has found a great match in Reddick, who is known for his aggressive driving style and giving each lap everything he’s got.

This will be Reddick’s first Kansas Speedway start in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. The 22-year-old driver has two starts at the 1.5-mile speedway in the Xfinity Series, collecting one pole and two top-five finishes.

Austin Dillon Fights Tough-Handling No. 3 AAA Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at Dover International Speedway

“Our 19th-place finish at Dover today wasn’t indicative of the fight this team showed all race long. The No. 3 AAA Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 started off the day tight on exit and stayed that way until the end of the Stage 1. My pit crew did a great job when we pitted on Lap 105 during the caution and gained us several spots in the process to help us with track position. After that first stop, our No. 3 AAA Chevy really took off and felt it was in the best shape it had been all weekend. However, a few laps later, it became really free and I battled loose entry and exit throughout the rest of Stage 2. Unfortunately, this caused us to go a lap down and finish the stage in the 19th spot. The final stage began with several wedge and trackbar adjustments to try and dial in the No. 3 AAA Chevrolet. This helped out quite a bit until after the final green flag pit stop. Our Chevrolet tightened up right after that stop and was tough to handle for the rest of the race. Even though The Monster Mile was a beast today, I look forward to conquering it later in the year. For now, we’ll regroup as a team during this short week in order to get back on track for Kansas next weekend.”

Daniel Hemric Records 25th-Place Finish with Caterpillar Chevrolet in First Dover Start

“They call this place The Monster Mile for a reason, and it was a monster to us today. We fought the handling of the No. 8 Caterpillar Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 all weekend, but Luke Lambert and these guys didn’t give up on it and kept working from the time we unloaded and all throughout the race. We never did get it to where we needed it to be and then on top of that, we had to pit with less than 20 laps to go for a loose wheel. We will take what we learned today and make sure we are in a better spot coming back here in the fall. I have to say thanks to all of the fans that came back today after yesterday’s rain out. The crowd was impressive for a Monday race, and hopefully they enjoyed the show.”

Tyler Reddick Captures Seventh-Consecutive Top-Five Finish of the Season with Third-Place Finish at Dover

“This weekend was another solid weekend for our No. 2 Roland Chevrolet Camaro. It was different to start off with single-car qualifying, but we got a top-five starting spot so we were OK with that. We fired off the race a lot tighter than I expected, but also with a lack of rear grip so it was a tough balance to manage. My crew chief Randall Burnett and the team did a good job on helping with adjustments throughout the race. Right before that late-race caution with about 20 laps to go, the car really started to come to me, we just needed a little bit more. It’s awesome though to have collected another top-five this season and continue to keep our streak of earning stage points in every stage this year. We’ve got some good momentum going over at the No. 2 RCR team, and I can’t wait for us to continue at Charlotte in a few weeks.”

Kaz Grala Shows Speed, Late Race Spin Derails Potential Top-Ten Finish

“It was a fun one at the Monster Mile, but unfortunately we didn’t get the finish we deserved. We had a really fast No. 21 Hot Scream Chevrolet Camaro, but we couldn’t get the track position today. We had various issues leading up to the major issue we had with the No. 23, when we spun with about 40 laps to go. We went a lap down and fought our way into the free pass position, but never caught another caution to get back on the lead lap. This team fought all day, and we had top-10 speed. I think if we ever got the track position, we could of run in the top five. It’s frustrating, but we’ll move onto the next one. I know everyone on this No. 21 team is ready and able to get the job done.”
