Grave Digger Comes Out on Top in Rosemont Moving in to the Lead of the #MoreMonsterJam Tour

Rosemont, Ill. (February 8, 2015) – Fans witnessed intense Monster Jam® endurance action highlighted by more of what the fans wanted to see… more trucks, more racing, more freestyle, more donuts, more wheelies… #MoreMonsterJam! It all happened this weekend in Rosemont, Ill. at the Allstate Arena.

Monster Energy’s Coty Saucier started out Rosemont strong with four points, claiming both freestyle champion and overall event champion Thursday evening. Monster Energy won the speedster side by side and the Monster Jam time trials as well.

It didn’t end there for Monster Energy who came in to Friday night in full force and kept the winning streak alive. Back to back freestyle and overall champion was Saucier’s once again. Monster Energy also won the speedster side by side, the Monster Jam time trials, and the speedster obstacle course. All in all walking away with 5 points on Friday night.

Monster Energy’s Coty Saucier once again took the overall win Saturday afternoon making it three in a row in Rosemont. Monster Energy took freestyle and overall champion once more, also winning the speedster side by side and the Monster Jam time trials grabbing four more total points.

Grave Digger® came in to Saturday with something to prove and looked to take the winning streak away from Monster Energy, which Colton Eichelberger was able to accomplish. Grave Digger was crowned the freestyle champion and overall event champion winning the wheelie competition and the speedster obstacle course and freestyle for a total of four points on the night.

Sunday afternoon Max-DSM and Morgan Kane finally joined the winners circle. Max-D won an ATV heat, the speedster obstacle course, and freestyle becoming the overall event champion and grabbing four points.

Sunday night ended with one of the most exciting shows of the entire tour. Grave Digger and Eichelberger stunned the crowd and had the entire arena on their feet with their freestyle performance. Grave Digger also won the wheelie competition, the Monster Jam time trials, donut competition, and the speedster obstacle course for an impressive six points on the night. This moved Grave Digger in to the overall points lead for the tour.
