Mooresville, N.C., Oct. 28, 2014 – It has been a full year since Summit Racing NHRA Pro Stock driver Greg Anderson has raced at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and this weekend, the seven-time Vegas winner will return with a desire that is only heightened after sitting out the spring race held earlier this season. Anderson, who missed the first five races of the year while he successfully recovered from heart surgery, has a remarkable record at The Strip, and at the upcoming 14th annual NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas, he plans to see that record expanded. Reading, Pa., October 4, 2014 – Jason Line saved the best for last during qualifying for the 30th annual NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway. The driver of the blue Summit Racing Chevrolet Camaro blasted down the quarter-mile dragstrip in his last qualifying run to clock a furiously swift 6.500-second pass at 213.23 mph. It was the third-quickest of the session and good for a valuable bonus qualifying point. Line, the incoming points leader, qualified in the No. 3 position and will race John Gaydosh in the first round of eliminations. Another final round for Line to protect the Pro Stock points lead

Madison, Ill., September 28, 2014 – Jason Line is doing a fine job of protecting the points lead in his chase for the 2014 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series world championship, and in his quest for the ultimate title, he powered the blue Summit Racing Chevrolet Camaro to the 73rd final round of his career and eighth of the season at Gateway Motorsports Park and the AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals. Line has maintained his grip on the points lead in each of the first three races of the Countdown to the Championship and has been to two final rounds in the six-race playoffs.

On Sunday in St. Louis, Line started from the No. 3 position and began his pursuit of the title with a first-round victory over second-generation drag racer Aaron Stanfield. Line clocked a 6.556-second pass at 211.76 mph in an automatic win over his red-lighting opponent. Round two brought Line up against KB Racing teammate Vincent Nobile, who gets his power from the Mooresville, N.C.-based engine shop. Mooresville, N.C., September 24, 2014 – Greg Anderson isn’t one to dwell on the past, but as the 74-time national event winner returns to the St. Louis area this weekend for the AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals, he is buoyed by the memory of strong past performances. The driver of the white Summit Racing Pro Stock Chevrolet Camaro won the event in 2004 in what was truly a remarkable season that included 15 wins in 19 final rounds. In addition to the St. Louis win, Anderson is a multi-time finalist there and has a collection of low qualifier awards earned at the drag strip in the shadow of The Arch. More points for Line with Carolina Nats finish, fired up for FallNationals raceday

Dallas, Texas, September 20, 2014 – Jason Line and Texas Motorplex continued a warm friendship today as Line advanced to the final round at the delayed NHRA Carolina Nationals to give his points lead a bit of a cushion heading into the second race of NHRA’s six-event Mello Yello Drag Racing Series Countdown to the Championship playoffs. Line, of Mooresville, N.C., didn’t score the Carolina Nationals title, but he is plenty fired up for a second day of eliminations at the AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals on Sunday.

Line qualified in the No. 6 spot for the event that was originally slated to take place in Charlotte. Before the event was put on hold due to conditions in the area, Line made the quickest Charlotte pass of the weekend with a remarkable 6.533, 210.93 to knock out Chris McGaha’s 6.856.
