Dallas, Texas, September 19, 2014 – Summit Racing NHRA Pro Stock driver Jason Line brought his best game to the table for Friday qualifying at the AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals, and with eliminations for the delayed Carolina Nationals set to continue on Saturday in conjunction with qualifying, Line has set the stage for what could be a very successful day.
In his first blast down the racetrack at Texas Motorplex, Line crossed the finish line with a swift 6.590-second pass at 209.88 mph. His time was the best of the round, placing him all the way in the No. 1 spot by .001-second over KB Racing-powered Vincent Nobile, who clocked a 6.591 for the No. 2 position. Teammate Greg Anderson’s 6.613, 209.33 placed him in the top half of the field, seventh, to cap off a respectable first session for the Summit Racing crew.
