KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 CREDIT ONE BANK CAMARO ZL1, met with members of the media at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and discussed testing at Vegas in January, his thoughts on the importance of the West Coast swing and many other topics. Full Transcript:

TALK ABOUT HOW YOUR TEAM PLANS TO APPROACH THIS WEEKEND AND WHAT YOUR HOPES ARE COME SUNDAY:
“We had a good run here last year. I think we finished second in both races, Xfinity and Cup, which is better than I typically had run at Vegas. So, I was happy about that, but we were pretty good most everywhere last year. We tested here a couple of weeks before Daytona and were really fast. That was our first time with the new Camaro ZL1, so was happy about that. I’m sure we are back here with about the same set-up as we ended the test with. We had a good run there. Yeah, just kind of wait and see how it goes. Excited about it. Atlanta is a unique 1.5-mile. WEST COAST SWING:
2018 marks the fourth consecutive year that the NASCAR schedule has taken the series on a ‘West Coast Swing’ visiting Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Phoenix International Raceway and Auto Club Speedway in succession. Chevrolet has been the most successful manufacturer by earning six of the nine races in the past three seasons that the series has made this mecca. WHAT DOES (CO-CREW CHIEF) BRIAN CORRADI BRING TO YOUR CREW?
“It’s been huge. It’s been great having Corradi on our team, working with Dan Hood. They’re kind of like family; they’ve known each other for a long time. It’s been a really great connection with the entire team. Every single one of my guys on the Advance Auto Parts Chevy Camaro has been working so hard. Today was actually a tough day. We had a 40-minute turnaround in the semis. They got it up there. We were able to get that win. Obviously, my dad wasn’t in the other lane for that run, but we still managed to have a solid pass down the racetrack. Didn’t have lane choice in the final and weren’t able to warm up the car but still got it up there. It was nice for TJ (Tommy Johnson Jr.) to wait for us. We were able to go up there and lay down a killer number. It’s thanks to my guys. They gave me the confidence to get in that car today. They make me feel safe in that car because of the amazing job they do on it. Corradi and Hood have been unbelievable getting the No. 1 qualifier we had this weekend and then to top it off. To take home the Wally at the end of the weekend is pretty incredible. It’s definitely a great start to our season. We’ve been looking for a win for a long time now.
