What they’re saying:No.12 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, Will Stevens: “Overall, a pretty solid session. There were a few bits and pieces we could have tidied up, but I feel like the half a second or six tenths we needed to get pole today was probably a little out of reach. We pretty much maximised what we had, so it was a solid result and a good starting position for tomorrow. It looks like we’ll have pretty mixed conditions, especially at the start of the race, when it’s quite likely to be wet. Starting up at the sharp end just makes things that little bit cleaner for the race start. We’ve made good progress so far, we’ll be looking to keep that going tomorrow.” No.38 Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA, Jack Aitken: “On the No. 38 side, we didn’t manage to get a clean lap in during Hyperpole, so we couldn’t really show what we were capable of, which is a shame. But it’s a long race tomorrow and the No. 12 is starting from a decent position, so we’ll work on our plans tonight and see what we can do.”
