CONCORD, NC (August 26, 2026) – September might signal the end of summer, but that’s not slowing down the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.
The Greatest Show on Dirt is full speed ahead into a month that features 11 races at eight tracks in four states. The stretch includes a big Labor Day weekend in South Dakota, tracks and states making popular returns to the schedule, and a freshened California swing.

Huset’s Speedway | L.G. Everist Huset’s Shootout (Sept. 4-6): September starts in a big way at Huset’s Speedway. The L.G. Everist Huset’s Shootout has grown to three nights of World of Outlaws action in 2026. A pair of $15,000-to-win prelims will set the stage for Sunday’s $25,000-to-win finale on Labor Day weekend, under a new special event format.
Michael “Buddy” Kofoid has proven to be the man to beat at Huset’s thanks to an incredible stretch with Roth Motorsports. He’s taken the Toyota Racing No. 83 to seven wins in the last 11 races there, including four six-figure paydays. Kofoid may take the headlines, but David Gravel can’t be overlooked at Huset’s. He’s won there five times, most notably in June for the richest payday in Series history of $300,000.

Belleville High Banks | Belleville High Banks 30 (Sept. 11): Get the radar guns out. The World of Outlaws are coming back to Belleville. The legendary 1/2-mile dirt track will welcome the tour for the first time since 2012 to open a Kansas weekend. It’ll mark the fourth Series visit to Belleville.
The three Belleville winners so far are Doug Wolfgang (1981), Paul McMahan (2011), and Kerry Madsen (2012). The 2026 roster does feature a pair of former Belleville victors in different disciplines. Chris Windom won a 2015 USAC Silver Crown race, and Spencer Bayston topped the 2017 Belleville Midget Nationals.

Dodge City Raceway Park | Gunslinger Stampede (Sept. 12): The “Sunflower State” weekend wraps up with the first trip to Dodge City Raceway Park since 2020. It’ll be the 28th overall race at the most visited Kansas track in Series history.
Sheldon Haudenschild claimed the 2020 finale. Joey Saldana and Donny Schatz are tied for the most Dodge City victories with five apiece. The track is also home to one of the most popular nights in the sport’s history, and it was the 2020 opener when Jacob Allen finally broke through for his first win.

El Paso County Raceway | Rocky Mountain Rumble (Sept. 14): The World of Outlaws is ready to make a long-awaited return to Colorado. Calhan, CO’s El Paso County Raceway will bring the country’s best Sprint Car drivers back to the “Rocky Mountain State” for the first time in exactly a decade on Monday, Sept. 14.
El Paso County was also the destination the last time the tour rolled into Colorado, and it was Jason Johnson picking up the win. Donny Schatz is also a former winner in the state, topping a 2003 visit to Rocky Mountain National Speedway.

Stockton Dirt Track | Dennis Roth Classic (Sept. 18-19): The California swing starts in a huge way when Stockton Dirt Track takes center stage for the fifth running of the Dennis Roth Classic. As a nod to the legendary car owner’s iconic number, Saturday’s finale serves up a meaty $83,000 payday to the winner.
David Gravel is the defending Dennis Roth Classic champion, narrowly nipping Spencer Bayston at the line in a photo finish last season. This year will be Stockton’s first chance to host the growing event. The two-night show will mark visits number 12 and 13 to the California bullring. Donny Schatz boasts the most wins with a trio. Logan Schuchart made back-to-back trips to Victory Lane in 2019. Buddy Kofoid was the most recent Stockton winner in 2024.

Kings Speedway | Central Valley Clash (Sept. 22): The next stop during the “Golden State” stretch is a midweek battle at the revitalized Kings Speedway in Hanford, CA. After shuttering in 2025, the 3/8 mile is up and running once again, and The Greatest Show on Dirt is set to help bring it back to life.
Kings is the fourth most-visited track in Series history with 38 previous nights of action. Steve Kinser’s seven triumphs rank as the most. Current World of Outlaws competitors that have conquered Kings are Logan Schuchart, Carson Macedo, Donny Schatz, and David Gravel.

Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway | Nashville West Showdown (Sept. 25): From Kings, it’s a trip south down the Central Valley to Bakersfield where Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway awaits. The tour debuted at the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion’s track last year and is back for more in 2026.
Buddy Kofoid collected a home-state victory when the World of Outlaws first visited the 1/3 mile oval in 2025.

Ventura Raceway | Toyota Racing Battle on the Beach presented by ARP (Sept. 26): The month and California swing are punctuated by what promises to be a thrilling addition to the calendar. For the first time ever, the World of Outlaws will visit Ventura Raceway for the Toyota Racing Battle on the Beach presented by ARP. The scenic bullring rests right alongside a sunny Southern California beach.
It’ll mark the first 410 Wing Sprint Car race at the 1/5 mile since a 2015 Northern Auto Racing Club (NARC) visit in 2015 won by Tyler Walker. Ventura will also become the 21st different “Golden State” track visited by the Series. No state has had more tracks welcome the tour than California.
