(Aug. 1, 2026) – Louis Delétraz, driver of the No. 40 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R, qualified fourth for the Motul SportsCar Endurance Grand Prix from Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Delétraz turned a lap of 1 minute, 49.613 seconds (132.947 mph) as the No. 93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian won the pole position. Jack Aitken, driver of the No. 31 Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R, qualified sixth with a lap of 1 minute 50.361 seconds (132.046 mph). Filipe Albuquerque, driver of the No. 10 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R was seventh with a lap of 1 minute 50.381 seconds (132.022 mph). Rain was present during the morning practice session, but by qualifying the sun was out and the track was dry. It seems like the cars that have a slight-paced advantage to us, but I think on our side, we’ve can really exhibited very well to do right calls on car set up, especially to make a race car, not select a qualifying car. Big thanks to Cadillac and Wayne Taylor Racing for giving me a good car, and tomorrow we have six hours to fight. The luck hasn’t been on our side in the last few races, but we have a pace to be up there and hopefully we can bring on a trophy.” |

It’s just been a very up and down day with the weather, and we weren’t really sure what conditions we were going to get. It ended up being dry and not too bad I would say, in terms of grip. But just missing that last little bit. So we’re just going to have a dig around tonight, see what we can find, and get ready for six hours tomorrow, because that’s obviously what counts.” |
