| BATAVIA, Ohio (July 12, 2026) – The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presented by FloRacing will make its first-ever appearance at Adams County Speedway on Tuesday, July 14, bringing the nation’s premier dirt late model tour to the southwest Iowa half-mile oval. Located on the Adams County Fairgrounds in Corning, Iowa, Adams County Speedway has been a staple of dirt track racing in southwest Iowa for decades. The fast half-mile clay oval has hosted countless weekly racing events and special attractions, and Tuesday’s Half Mile Hustle will mark the first appearance by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at the facility. “The Half Mile Hustle is an exciting addition to our schedule, and we’re looking forward to making our first visit to Adams County Speedway,” said Series Director Rick Schwallie. “The facility has a strong reputation, and we’re excited to showcase the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in front of the fans in southwest Iowa. We expect a great night of racing.” Fans can expect a full evening of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competition featuring Dirt Draft Hot Laps, Allstar Performance Time Trials, Heat Races, B-Mains, and the 40-lap, $15,000-to-win Half Mile Hustle main event. The Hobby Stocks will join the racing card as a support division. All gates open at 2:00 p.m. Hot laps are scheduled for 6:30 p.m., with racing immediately following. Brandon Sheppard continues to lead the Big River Steel Championship Standings presented by ARP, holding a slim 35-point advantage over Hudson O’Neal. Devin Moran remains third, followed by Brandon Overton and Max Blair to round out the top five. Ricky Thornton Jr., Garrett Alberson, Josh Rice, Brian Shirley, and Kyle Bronson complete the current top 10 as the championship battle continues to tighten heading into the next round of competition.
