The action begins on Thursday, July 9, when the nation’s premier dirt late model tour makes its only appearance of the season at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa. A strong field of the country’s top dirt late model drivers will battle in a complete Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program highlighted by a 50-lap feature paying $15,000 to the winner. Friday night’s Pitts Homes & Realty Salute to Forrest honors Lucas Oil founder Forrest Lucas and features another complete Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series program with $15,000 awaiting the winner. Both the pit area and spectator gates open at 4:00 p.m. Hot laps are slated for 6:30 p.m. The weekend concludes on Saturday, July 11 with the 20th Annual CMH Diamond Nationals, paying $25,000 to the winner.
