Monster Tsuiso Experience and Drift Masters Rd4

Monster Tsuiso Experience and Drift Masters Rd4

What do you get when you combine Baggsy in his #LSXR35, Monster Energy teammate Luke Woodham and a huge Go Kart track deep in Slovenia? The Monster Tsuiso Experience. Three days filled with media interviews, ride alongs, Monster Girls, VR gaming and more.

With the likes of The Sun, TopGear magazine, Boosted Magazine and Super Cars of London all in attendance. Each media outlet had the time to interview the drivers one on one, and take a very special passenger ride along to gain the full drift experience.

With over 60 passenger rides, many smiling faces and a few scared ones. The #LSXR35 filled the hills surrounding Raceland Krsko with smoke and the echoing sound of the LSX V8. The three day Monster Energy drift experience was a great success.

The past weekend saw another round of the Drift Masters GP touchdown in Torun, Poland. The world famous MotoArena Torun Speedway Stadium played host to Round 4 of DMGP, with a purpose built drift track.

Friday practice got underway for the drivers on the demanding circuit consisting of banked corners and concrete walls. Unfortunately Baggsy’s new #PS13V8 suffered some mechanical issues during the first practice session, causing him to retire from the competition early.

Teammate and Acorn Insurance Motorsport driver Nigel Colfer quickly got to grips with the layout, and would go on to qualify in 14th position putting him into the Top 32 bracket. The competition was definitely heating up, and there was no room for error.

Saturday would see the main event. With a 5000+ crowd in attendance, over a million online viewers, special guests from Formula Drift and a whole host of pyrotechnics. Round 4 was shaping up to be a drift spectacular. Nigel Colfer would find himself joining Polish driver Paweł Grosz on the line for their Top 32 battle. After an intense and very close battle, the judges would call a One More Time. Colfer and Grosz would go at it again, pushing their limits to the max. Unfortunately the judges would award the win to Grosz, ending Colfers weekend early.

Baggsy: We had a lot of fun at the Monster Tsuiso Experience in Slovenia. Was great to chat to some many people and elaborate on the world of drifting to the media. We gave so many passenger rides to media and trade guests in the #LSXR35, and it was awesome to see their reactions. Everyone seemed to love the experience.

Drift Masters round 4 in Poland was insane! Unfortunately we suffered some issues with the #PS13V8 which prevented us from running in the competition. But it was an awesome event to witness. The level of driving and organisation at the DMGP events is out of this world! We have the PS13 back at the SB Motorsports HQ, and are getting ready for round 5 at the Hockenheimring in Germany. Nigel Colfer had a hard fought battle in his Top 32, and was unfortunate to not take the win. I can’t wait to get to round 5 now and show what the #PS13V8 is capable of.
