TEAM SUMMIT RACING LOOKS FOR WIN ON THE
LAST LEG OF THE WESTERN SWING

Mooresville, NC (August 3, 2016)—Team Summit Racing makes its final stop on the Western Swing, the Protect The Harvest NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle. Both Greg Anderson and Jason Line have won at Pacific Raceways three times in their careers.

Anderson scored his 85th career win at the NHRA Sonoma Nationals, tying him with NHRA legend Bob Glidden as the second winningest Pro Stock racer in history.

“I’m riding into Seattle on a high after tying Bob Glidden’s record,” Anderson said. “Now I’m looking forward to breaking the tie.”

The Northwest Nationals mark a major milestone for Jason Line. This will be his 300th NHRA drag race. Line has 44 career wins and only one DNQ since he started driving.

“I just love Seattle. This track has been good to me over the years. I’ve been in the finals six times and won three,” said Line. “I can’t believe that it has been 300 races. Time flies.”

After a crash in Denver and a first round loss in Sonoma, Nitro Funny Car driver Tim Wilkerson and his team are looking to rebound this weekend. Wilkerson has won Seattle three times and wants to get back to the winner’s circle.

“We’re going to Seattle and try to do a better job of racing. I think if I can get myself reeled back a little bit and stop being so greedy, I’ll probably do well there,” said Wilkerson. “The car’s running good, the guys are working hard, and it’s time to win some rounds.”
