AVONDALE, Ariz. November 14, 2016 – Joey Logano captured the win at Phoenix International Raceway in dramatic fashion to secure his spot in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Championship finale. The No. 22 of Team Penske advances to the Final 4 at Homestead-Miami Speedway for the title.

The power beneath the hood of the No. 22 Ford Fusion, a Ford FR9 V8 race engine, was built exclusively by Roush Yates Engines in partnership with Ford Performance. ROUSH YATES ENGINES ACHIEVES 250th POLE!

MOORESVILLE, NC, November 5, 2016 – Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell drivers of the No. 67 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing team put the Ford GT on the pole at the 6 Hours of Shanghai, in the FIA World Endurance Championship series.

This pole position marked the 250th pole in NASCAR and Road Racing for Roush Yates Engines in partnership with Ford Performance since 2004. The No. 67 recorded a qualifying lap time of 2:01.391 and the No. 66 of Stefan Mucke and Olivier Pla were a mere .137s behind to make it an all Ford front row. TALLADEGA, Ala., October 25, 2016 – Joey Logano takes back-to-back October wins at Talladega Superspeedway and advances to the third round of the Chase. Roush Yates Engines in partnership with Ford Performance provided the Ford FR9 V8 winning engine that powered the No. 22 to victory lane in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, Hellmann’s 500.

Logano, driver of the Team Penske No. 22 made an impressive statement by winning his second fall Chase race at the legendary Talladega Superspeedway.

FORD GT WINS FUJI! | 1-2 FINISH!

FUJI, JAPAN, October 17, 2016 – The No. 67 Ford GT, driven by Andy Priaulx and Harry Tincknell took the checkered flag for Ford Chip Ganassi Racing. Winning the FIA World Endurance Championship Series, 6 Hours of Fuji. The Priaulx / Tincknell duo achieved their first win of the WEC season in dramatic fashion at the Fuji Speedway in the seventh race of the season.

“Your first win for a manufacturer is always special but with everything we’ve been through this season it’s a massive relief,” added Harry Tincknell.

CHARLOTTE, N.C., October 10, 2016 – Joey Logano and Team Penske captured the NASCAR Xfinity win at Charlotte Motor Speedway. As the exclusive Ford Performance engine builder for NASCAR, Roush Yates Engines in partnership with Ford Performance designed, tested and built the Ford FR9 V8 winning engine that powered the No. 12 Ford Mustang to victory lane in the NASCAR Xfinity Series BCBS NC Race for the Cure 300.

Logano, driver No. 12 of Team Penske made an incredible surge to take the lead with only 12 laps to go, after going three wide on the final restart. TYLER REDDICK WINS AT LAS VEGAS!

LAS VEGAS, Nev., October 3rd, 2016 – Tyler Reddick scored his first win of the 2016 season and Daniel Hemric finished second in the DC Solar 350 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This victory was Reddick’s first win of the 2016 season and also marked the first one-two finish for Brad Keselowski Racing. Saturday night’s race was the second of three races in the Chase’s Round of 8, Hemric is now 15 points outside the six-driver cutoff line.

FORD GT350R-C WINS BIG IN TEXAS!

AUSTIN, TX. September 19th, 2016 – The No. 15 of Billy Johnson and Scott Maxwell of Multimatic Motorsports captured their fifth win and fifth pole at Circuit of The Americas. This dynamic duo extended their lead in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Series, Grand Sport class with one race left this season.

The Roush Yates Engines’ Ford GT350R-C engine delivered the power to position the No. 15 Multimatic Motorsports Ford Shelby Mustang on the pole and the No. 76 C360R of Paul Holton and Pierre Kleinubing in P2 on Thursday. This made for the fifth pole of the season for *Maxwell / Johnson.

Maxwell started in the cockpit for the No. 15 and Johnson finished out the second stint. Leading the majority of the race and taking the Multimatic Motorsports Ford Shelby across the finish line, increasing their overall points lead to 31.

The C360R team of Holton and Kleinubing also ran strong to finish on the podium in third.

Roush Yates Engines in partnership with Ford Performance redefined the Ford Shelby GT350R-C race engine to provide the ultimate power for the Ford Shelby Mustang to tame the 60 lap (204 total miles) demanding road course, known for its steep 16 story climb off the front straight away and 20 notorious curves around the 3.4 mile track.

This was the team’s fifth win of the year following up on their wins at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park, Lime Rock, Road America and the first race of the year at Daytona. The No. 15 is posed and focused on the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Championship on September, 30 at Road Atlanta.

The No. 67, Ford Chip Ganassi Racing US team of *Ryan Briscoe / Richard Westbrook secured their fourth pole of the season with Briscoe behind the wheel in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship GTLM class. They fought hard during the Lone Star Le Mans race and finished in P9 and the sister-car No. 66 in P6.

The Ford Chip Ganassi Racing UK teams, No. 66 of Stefan Mucke / Olivier Pla and No. 67 Marino Franchitti / Andy Priaulx / Harry Tincknell also raced the Ford GT cars in the FIA World Endurance Championship, in the 6 Hours of Circuit of the Americas and after an incident filled six hour battle finished P7 and P4 respectively.

ELKHART LAKE, WISC. August 8th, 2016 – The No. 15 of Billy Johnson and Scott Maxwell of Multimatic Motorsports took home their third win in a row and their fourth overall for the year. This win marked their first win at Road America in the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Series and secured their position on top of the leader board in the Grand Sport (GS) class with 228 points.

The race at Road America came down to the last few laps with the No. 15 in second place, but their position would quickly change in the last lap as the race leader ran out of fuel. The No. 15 Multimatic Motorsports car with Billy Johnson driving, did an outstanding job of managing his fuel and tires to take the lead and checkered flag. LONG POND, PENN., August 2, 2016 – Rookie, Chris Buescher won his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race since starting full-time with Front Row Motorsports in 2016.

This was also Front Row Motorsports and team owner Bob Jenkins’ 2nd NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win with Roush Yates Engines. “What an incredible win for Chris Buescher and Front Row Motorsports,“ Doug Yates, President and CEO of Roush Yates Engines, “Chris will never forget this moment.”

A heavy fog, with 28 laps left to go moved over Pocono Raceway impairing NASCAR officials and team spotter’s visibility of the “Tricky Triangle.” Shortly afterwards a red flag was waved and NASCAR made the decision to shorten the Pennsylvania 400 and race leader Buescher celebrated with his hardworking team in victory lane.

The Ford Fusions with Roush Yates Engines’ powered a 1-2 finish with No. 34 Chris Buescher of Front Row Motorsports and No. 2 Brad Keselowski of Team Penske. Ford Performance teams led a race total 72 laps out of 138 between; Buescher (12), Keselowski (8), Biffle (14) and Logano (38).

ROUSH YATES ENGINES POWERS SECOND CONSECUTIVE RACE WIN WITH FORD SHELBY GT350R-C!

LAKEVILLE, Conn., July 25, 2016 – It’s the third win of the year for the No. 15 Ford Shelby GT350R-C with co-drivers Billy Johnson and Scott Maxwell as they scored their second consecutive victory at Lime Rock Park on Saturday.

Unofficially, Maxwell and Johnson extended their lead in the GS standings to 13 points over Burkett and Miller, 193-180. After opening the year with a victory at Daytona, they have finished in the top four in all six events. Johnson now has 16 career Continental Tire Challenge victories to 9 for Maxwell.
