Stotz Racing Update

Another Race, Another Win

Stotz racing is enjoying a great season as we have won again this weekend at NHDRO’s Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis. This race put the Stotz Racing Honda team to the test many times as Friday night just before the 1st qualifying session, we heard a noise in the top end of the motor that was getting worse. We decided to forgo the first round of qualifying and change engines before anything catastrophic happened. Thank you to our friend Kurt Sikora of Sikora Precision who not only fabricates a lot of the parts we use but also jumped in to help us late into the night. Continue reading Stotz Racing Update →

FIA / FIM European Finals

Santa Pod Raceway

Thu.6 – Sun.9 September 2018

Top Fuel Dragsters are not the only story in drag racing. Pro Modifieds make plenty of noise too, and more so this year when Britain’s resurgent Andy Robinson takes on the continent’s finest practitioners at the FIA/FIM European Finals next month.

Robinson prefers to concentrate his firepower on the MSA British Drag Racing Championship, of which Pro Mod became the designated class in 2007. Since then, Robinson has won the championship six times. Indeed, he has been a key figure in the class throughout its 30-year history, one of European Pro Mod’s ‘founding fathers’. So what has spiced up the story this year? The small matter of one-tenth of a second, is the answer. Continue reading FIA/FIM EUROPEAN FINALS: BRITISH VICTORY ON THE CARDS? →

With everything packed, the only thing missing was the Stocker. After yet another failed dyno attempted, it was decided new pistons were in order. With this new discovery, the motor was not available for the Denver or Topeka events. Continue reading The Time Slip–Brenda Grubbs →
