SWEEPING THE NATION: McDermand Passes McIntosh Late to Win at 81, Sweeps Kansas Weekend

McIntosh retains points lead with back-to-back runners-up, Miller best career finish in P3

PARK CITY, KS (May 6, 2023) – It’s hard to believe now that Chase McDermand’s first start of the 2023 Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota season ended with him on the trailer without a spot in the main event. His doubters have since been silenced, as he drove to Victory Lane for the second time in two races Saturday night at 81 Speedway.

His clean sweep of the Series’ first trip to Kansas was completed in exciting fashion after winning Friday night at Humboldt Speedway. McDermand and the Mounce/Stout Motorsports crew showed up to 81 on Saturday, still hungry for more, and got the job done – driving around Series points leader Cannon McIntosh on a restart in the final 10 laps to bag the $4,000 grand prize and McDermand’s third career Xtreme Outlaw victory.

His second win of the season now sets him third in the Series points standings – a far cry from 22nd, where he sat after that first race in Du Quoin back in mid-March.

“To be able to climb back out of the hole we were in early… It means a lot to be able to be able to do that this early in the season,” McDermand said.

Neither Feature win over the weekend was handed to him. Like Friday, McDermand had to pass one of the fastest cars on the track to get the win.

Rolling off the starting grid on the outside pole, McDermand slipped back to fourth in the opening laps but was able to gather it back in after a restart on Lap 11. Two laps and two passes for position later, he had only McIntosh in his sights and made a beeline for his rear bumper.

The field was soon faced with another restart on Lap 18. Though McIntosh was fast and had led the last eight laps, he still could sense the area where he was lacking.

“I could feel it start to struggle on corner exit,” McIntosh said. “I figured at some point, somebody would be coming.”

Lo and behold, the exit of Turn 2 was where McDermand decided to pull the trigger. He got a great jump on the restart and carried a full head of steam through Turns 1-2, zooming past McIntosh on the bottom to take the lead.

“I knew where I was running had been good – a little bit lower into Turn 1 and off of Turn 2,” McDermand said. “I got a really good run there. I was able to get side-by-side with him and then clear him.

“I didn’t want to get too good of a run going into Turn 3, so I had to run low enough to block the slider if it was coming.”

Now with the lead and the laps winding down, McDermand hit the jets and began to pull away from the field. Even a green-white-checkered finish at the end could not slow him down as he cruised to his second win in two nights.

“I was just trying to hit my marks,” McDermand said of his plan for the green-white-checkered finish. “Turns 1-2 I hit it right maybe three-quarters of the time, and the other corners – I just couldn’t get a good run off of 2, so I knew I had to hit that corner right, especially having Cannon and Gavin [Miller] behind me.”

Though he was a bit bummed about having to settle for runner-up two nights in-a-row, McIntosh was happy to retain the points lead with his fourth podium finish in the first five Series races thus far.

“It’s good to come out of here with the points lead and have a consistent weekend,” McIntosh said. “Hopefully, we can continue to do the same thing going into the next races we have.”

Completing the podium was 16-year-old Gavin Miller, who charged from 13th on the grid to third in 25 laps to record his best career Xtreme Outlaw finish in his first full-time season at the controls of a Keith Kunz Motorsports Midget.

“We’re making big gains every single race, and I’m still learning,” Miller said. “It’s crazy to me how far I’ve come so far, only having a year of experience, and not that many races, either.”

Thornton Earns Career First Ralph Latham Memorial Victory at Florence

UNION, Ky. (May 6, 2023) – Ricky Thornton Jr. regained his early season form in winning Saturday night’s 37th Annual Ralph Latham Memorial at the Florence Speedway. In a spectacular race where the top four drivers battled it out for the lead, Thornton pulled away in the last few laps to secure his third Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win of the season. Thornton was the third different leader of the highly contested race as he came from the seventh starting spot to secure the $15,000 victory. Current Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point leader Hudson O’Neal came home in second with Brandon Overton completing the Big River Steel Podium. Garrett Alberson was one of the contenders for the win as he charged from his 19th starting spot to earn the Todd Steel Buildings Hard Charger of the Race – finishing fourth. Tim McCreadie, who started 18th rallied for fifth at the end. Jonathan Davenport, the reigning Sunoco Race Fuels North/South 100 winner started from the pole and bolted to the lead at the start of the race. Davenport pulled away from the field as O’Neal moved past Spencer Hughes for second on the third lap. O’Neal then closed the gap that had developed between himself and Davenport as the two ran two distinctly different lines.  Overton made it a three-way battle for the top spot just as the first caution of the race came out on lap ten. On the restart it took O’Neal just three laps to get by Davenport to become the second different leader of the race. Overton and Thornton both passed Davenport, dropping to fourth in the running order, with 19 laps scored as the caution would come out.  On the restart Thornton had the momentum on the top shelf passing both O’Neal and Overton as he took the lead on lap 23. Bobby Pierce was starting to show his usual Florence Speedway strength against the outside retaining wall as he climbed to third, but just as that happened an issue developed for Pierce forcing him pit side with 24 laps complete. The heated battle would slow once again with 15 laps remaining. On the restart Thornton surged away to a 2.554 second advantage when the checkers fell. It was Thornton’s second career win at Florence after he won the Spring 50 in 2021. In Lucas Oil Victory Lane for the eighth time in his career, Thornton emerged from the 20RT to the roar of the large crowd. “I told my guys my goal was to come out and win tonight. The car took off after that one restart. I was able to get by Hud [O’Neal] and Brandon [Overton]. I thought it was going to be around the bottom longer than it was. It’s easy to knock the right rear off the car here. You can look at my quarter panel and see that. But at the end I just wanted to keep it off the wall and hit my marks because I knew those other guys were not going to give up. Overall, I am excited to get this win.”  O’Neal will maintain his championship point lead heading into Farmer City and Fairbury next weekend. “I made just one mistake and that is all it took. I let Ricky [Thornton Jr.] and Brandon [Overton] get by me there after that one caution and then Brandon made a mistake, and I got back by him. We just had to be a little conservative there for a while. I was trying to get to Ricky to see if we could do something with him and I just made a costly mistake there in one and two. We are happy with the weekend we had, a win and two seconds is a good weekend for me. I will take that any day. Ricky made very few mistakes up front and that was the difference.” Overton was the only driver among the top three that did not lead a lap during the race. “We’ve got an awesome car. I made all my money running through the middle there. It’s hard for me to run any kind of different lines around the track. As soon as I got up there to run the top, I got into the wall it knocked my helmet crooked and I thought I need to get back down to the bottom. It was a heck of race. Congrats to Ricky [Thornton Jr.] and Hudson [O’Neal] they did a heck of a job man. I just needed 50 more laps you know. But we had an awesome three days of racing.” The winner’s Todd and Vickie Burns-owned, SSI Motorsports Longhorn Chassis is powered by a Clements Racing Engine and sponsored by Big River Steel, Hoker Trucking, Sub-Surface of Indiana, Dyno-One Inc., Wets Side Tractor Sales, D&E Outside Services, Certified Inspection Service Company, Inc., Sunoco Race Fuels, Bilstein Shocks, Midwest Sheet Metal, and Murty Farms. Completing the top ten were Cory Hedgecock, Jonathan Davenport, Earl Pearson Jr., Devin Moran, and Logan Roberson. Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Race Summary 37th Annual Ralph Latham MemorialSaturday, May 6, 2023Florence Speedway – Union, KY Allstar Performance Time TrialsFast Time Group A:  Brandon Overton / 15.398 seconds (overall)Fast Time Group B: Spencer Hughes / 15.712 seconds  Penske Shocks Heat Race #1 Finish (10 Laps, Top 4 Transfer): 1. 49-Jonathan Davenport[2]; 2. 76-Brandon Overton[1]; 3. 32-Bobby Pierce[3]; 4. 18D-Daulton Wilson[5]; 5. 58-Garrett Alberson[4]; 6. 6JR-Parker Martin[7]; 7. 89-Logan Roberson[9]; 8. 1G-Devin Gilpin[6]; 9. 15-James Rice[8]; 10. 12-Jason Jameson[10]Summit Racing Products Heat Race #2 Finish (10 Laps, Top 4 Transfer): 1. 11R-Josh Rice[1]; 2. 20RT-Ricky Thornton Jr[2]; 3. 157-Mike Marlar[3]; 4. 1T-Tyler Erb[7]; 5. 23-Cory Hedgecock[5]; 6. 4G-Kody Evans[6]; 7. 5N-Dustin Nobbe[8]; 8. 68-Adam Stricker[4]; 9. 99S-Bill Sheets[9]; 10. 8A-Curt Addison[10]

Daniels in Command at Inaugural Ventura Short Track

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 6, 2023) – The dream season of ascending Progressive American Flat Track star Dallas Daniels (No. 32 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07 DT) continued with his convincing victory in Saturday night’s inaugural Ventura Short Track at Ventura Raceway in Ventura, California. As impressive as he was a year ago as a Mission SuperTwins presented by S&S Cycle rookie, Daniels has taken his game to the next level in 2023. The prodigious teenager extended his unblemished run of firsts and seconds this season with a calm and controlled performance en route to the top step on the box at the scenic ocean-adjacent venue. Daniels’ teammate, JD Beach (No. 95 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07 DT), shot off the line in first but held the position for less than a single quick circulation of the 1/5-mile clay oval. Beach did well to keep Daniels honest after being dropped to second and even reeled him back in at one point. But the relentless perfection of the title leader gradually stacked up to a near one-second advantage by the time the Main Event was seven minutes deep, with reigning champion Jared Mees (No. 1 Indian Motorcycle/Rogers Racing/SDI Racing FTR750) significantly further back in third. Just when the podium order seemed all but academic, a red-flag reset occurred after Brandon Robinson (No. 44 Mission Roof Systems Indian FTR750) came out the worst of an accordion-style crash that marred the multi-rider fight for fourth. Jarod Vanderkooi (No. 20 JMC Motorsports/Fairway Ford Indian FTR750) got into the back of Johnny Lewis (No. 10 Moto Anatomy X Powered by Royal Enfield 650), leading directly to Robinson’s spill. The fallen Robinson was subsequently clipped by Sammy Halbert (No. 69 Dodge Bros. Racing/Martin Trucking Harley-Davidson XR750) forcing a stoppage in the action. But even after Beach, Mees, and the field being given a second chance, little changed at the front following the staggered restart. Daniels simply went back to piling up his advantage, ultimately scooping up a third win of the year to go with his three runner-ups. Beach completed the Estenson Racing Yamaha 1-2, while Mees managed to score podium points on a night he never really felt at home on the track. Likewise, two-time Grand National Champion Briar Bauman (No. 3 Parts Plus/Jacob Companies KTM 890 Duke) came away with fourth after running as low as ninth early. Lewis held on for his second top five of the season in fifth, followed closely to the line by Halbert and Bauman’s younger sibling, Bronson Bauman (No. 37 Fastrack Racing/2 Wheelz KTM 890 Duke). Kolby Carlile (No. 36 G&G Racing/Yamaha Racing Yamaha MT-07) picked up his best result of the season in eighth, while Davis Fisher (No. 67 Rackley Racing/Bob Lanphere’s BMC Racing Indian FTR750) and Vanderkooi rounded out the top ten. As a result of the third triumph of his sophomore campaign, Daniels tightened his grip on the title fight. He opened his lead to 24 points over Mees (138-114) a third of the way into the season, while Beach moved back ahead of Bauman for third (97-94). Parts Unlimited AFT Singles presented by KICKER Like Daniels, Kody Kopp (No. 1 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing 450 SX-F) earned the third win of his 2023 season as he continued his Parts Unlimited AFT Singles presented by KICKER title defense in stellar fashion. However, in contrast to his twin victory cruises at the DAYTONA double opener, Kopp was pushed to the brink by a hungry Chase Saathoff (No. 88 American Honda/Mission Foods CRF450R) under the lights at Ventura Raceway. After a handful of hectic early laps, the two shook free from Saathoff’s Turner Racing teammates, Morgen Mischler (No. 13 American Honda/Mission Foods CRF450R) and Trent Lowe (No. 48 American Honda/Mission Foods CRF450R). From that point on, the race became a two-rider duel for top honors. While Kopp controlled the bulk of the tense contest from the front, the Honda pilot threw in a few late haymakers, including a skittering, crisscrossing double lead change that got the fans on their feet with less than 30 seconds remaining on the clock. But a last-lap encore wasn’t in the cards, as a minor moment on Saathoff’s part with two laps to go allowed Kopp just enough air to power to the checkered flag firework-free. Kopp said, “Chase is a helluva competitor. He was my fiercest rival and competitor growing up on 85s, 250s, and 450s. Man, that was probably the most fun race I’ve ever had – we were squaring each other up. I hope it was a fun one to watch.” Mischler held off Kopp’s charging teammate, Max Whale (No. 18 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing 450 SX-F), to pick up his second consecutive podium, while Estenson Racing Yamaha’s Trevor Brunner (No. 21 Estenson Racing Yamaha YZ450F) charged his way forward to fifth after getting off the line in ninth. Dallas winner Lowe came home sixth, while Brunner’s Estenson Racing Yamaha teammate, Tom Drane (No. 59 Estenson Racing Yamaha YZ450F), took seventh. Cole Frederickson (No. 151 Lehmann Racing/Miller Tree Service Honda CRF450R) fifth eighth, followed by Justin Jones (No. 91 NRC Racing/Elder Trucking KTM 450 SX-F). Kopp’s closest title rival, Dalton Gauthier (No. 79 D&D Racing/Certified KTM 450 SX-F) was the final rider in the top ten. That allowed Kopp to press his advantage up to a healthy 19 points (127-108) with Whale third at 102 and the on-form Saathoff fourth with 97. Next Up: Progressive American Flat Track will conclude its two-weekend California swing by going directly from the season’s final Short Track into its first Mile with the Legendary Sacramento Mile at Cal Expo in Sacramento, California, on Saturday, May 13. It feels really good to get a pole. Kansas (Speedway) is where I got my first truck win and that was really exciting, and I’ve never won here again (laughs). Hopefully tomorrow can be a little bit better. We’ve been kind of inching up on it in the Cup Series at this race track. We had good runs here last year – leading the race in the spring and got a flat tire, and then finished I think sixth in the fall race. So we’ve been pretty good here, it’s just a matter of putting it all together and hopefully tomorrow is the day.”
LAST TIME WE WERE AT A TRADITIONAL 1.5-MILE RACE TRACK WAS LAS VEGAS AND YOU GOT THE WIN THERE. WHAT DO YOU FEEL LIKE CHEVROLET AND YOUR TEAM SPECIFICALLY JUST FOUND ON THE 1.5-MILE TRACKS BETWEEN LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR? “I don’t know. I feel like we’ve just worked really hard on the 1.5-mile tracks. We’ve gotten a better understanding of this racecar as a whole and I think the 1.5-mile tracks show that – just the fine details, the understanding of the setup, what makes speed, what the tire needs through simulation. I think we’re just kind of inching up on it. I think Las Vegas (Motor Speedway) was honestly surprising of how good we were there. Today, we missed the balance a little bit off the truck, but we were able to find it by the end of qualifying. I would say our best run there, balance-wise, was that final run and it was good enough, speed-wise, for the pole.  Just kind of feel like at this race track, in particular, we still need to work on the balance overnight. But in Vegas, we pretty much hit it off the truck and had a really good weekend.”
IS THERE DAMAGE ON YOUR CAR FROM HITTING THE WALL THAT YOU WOULD HAVE TO REPAIR? “I hope not. It looked pretty good, didn’t it (laughs)?  No, I think it’s fine. It sounds like it was all good. I kind of drug the wall just being a dummy the second lap of practice. Drove in to run the top and just carried way too much speed. But yeah, it seems like the car is fine. The toe wasn’t bent or anything, so that’s all you really worry about with these cars. We can kind of polish up the quarter panel just to make it look nice, so we have a nice little paint scheme come Sunday.”
LAST YEAR, 23XI AND TOYOTA WAS STRONG HERE. IS THIS A STATEMENT FROM HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS TODAY TO TAKE THE FIRST TWO SPOTS? “I don’t really think statements are made until Sunday, but yeah certainly. We want to have a good Sunday.. that’s what pays. We just have to put it together for 400 miles. Those guys are always pretty good on the long runs, especially here. So I think just working on long run pace and just trying to put the whole race together like we did at Las Vegas (Motor Speedway).  At Vegas, the good thing was that we had short, middle and long run speed. The long run speed was honestly probably the best aspect, so that’s what we’ve worked really hard on this week.”

McDermand Drives by Torgerson at Humboldt for Second Career Xtreme Midget Feature Win

HUMBOLDT, KS (May 5, 2023) – To win, Chase McDermand was going to have to drive around the fastest car on the racetrack. He’d tried once before and failed, but with the laps winding down and his patience wearing thin, he knew it was time to pull out his best move.

A slide-job maneuver in Turns 1-2 on Lap 22 was exactly what McDermand was looking for in his pursuit of race-long leader Ashton Torgerson. McDermand pitched the car hard to the left getting into Turn 1 on the bottom and stomped the throttle, drifting up into Torgerson’s lane to take the position.

A smooth line around the bottom groove in Turns 3-4 sealed the pass for McDermand, and from there on out, it was his race to lose. Torgerson faded back to third while Cannon McIntosh did all he could to reel-in the leader in the final laps, but McDermand was too fast out front as he crossed the stripe to bag the Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyota Feature win Friday night at Humboldt Speedway.

“The last restart, I was watching [Tanner] Thorson and seeing what he was telling [Torgerson] to do,” McDermand, 22, of Springfield, IL, said. “I just figured he was going to try and block my line or something and he didn’t, so I just kept making sure I hit my marks.

“I was able to move a little closer every lap [after] the last restart, and we pulled it off.”

Torgerson, 16, of Glendale, AZ, was aboard the Tanner Thorson Racing #28 in his Xtreme Outlaw Series debut, back at the controls of a Midget for the first time since suffering injury at the Chili Bowl Nationals in January. He led the first 21 circuits of the race from the outside pole and had yet to be seriously challenged for the lead until McDermand came knocking.

“Ran the top pretty much the entire race and felt good up there, then McDermand showed me a line down there,” Torgerson said. “We were racing off of four, side-by-side; I should’ve moved down and took the lane.”

After several cautions and two red-flag periods, the race’s final restart took the green on Lap 19 with Torgerson holding strong out front. That’s when McDermand decided to pull the trigger, using his inside lane speed to his advantage and made the move for the lead.

But in getting to the position to be able to contend for the lead, McDermand had some prior work to take care of. He rolled off the starting grid P5 and did not initially like how his car was handling, so a few in-car shock adjustments were needed.

“I’m really glad we did have those red flags and the yellows,” McDermand said. “I got to think about exactly what the changes I was making were going to do to the car under the red. Under the yellows, it just gave me some opportunities to just play with it a bit more and fine-tune it.”

Once the car came in how he wanted it, McDermand was hooked-up. He took the lead with eight laps left and proceeded to drive away from the second-place, which by five-to-go, McIntosh had fought his way into from ninth on the starting grid.

“I was able to make a lot of ground on restarts and just carry more speed than other guys on the start,” McIntosh said. “Once we got going, we were pretty good; I think McDermand was just a little better than us, overall.”

Torgerson completed the podium, while Thomas Meseraull got back into the Xtreme Outlaw top-five with a fourth-place run from 12th on the grid. Daniel Whitley put the Abacus Racing #58 across the stripe in fifth for his first career Xtreme Outlaw top-five.

SHARK SURVIVAL: Logan Schuchart Fends off Late Rico Abreu Charge for First 2023 World of Outlaws Victory

Schuchart snags fourth Eldora triumph in thrilling #LetsRaceTwo opener

ROSSBURG, OH (May 5, 2023) – Logan Schuchart wasn’t surprised when Rico Abreu slid ahead of him coming to the white flag Friday night at Eldora Speedway.

Nine years on the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car tour has taught him someone is always lurking. The nation’s top Sprint Car drivers are prepared to pounce on the smallest mistake. Even though he’d led every lap entering the final one, Schuchart still didn’t expect to go unchallenged. What matters is the response to the challenge. Composure can be the difference between celebrating a win and settling for second.

This experience and expectation allowed the 10th year veteran to stay poised and map out his answer to Abreu’s slider. Schuchart executed a perfect response slide job of his own in Turn 1 and held off Abreu’s last gasp in the final set of corners to claim his first checkered flag of 2023.

“I was kind of expecting it sooner,” Schuchart said of Abreu’s bid for the lead. “I felt pretty confident that when he did drive across in front of me I knew that it was going to be hard for him to keep speed or block me into (Turn) one that I could kind of wait for him for a second coming out of (Turn) four and down the front stretch to make a move or decide what I was going to do. I know he wanted to get right back to the top, and I just kind of had to short slide him and park it in front of him because it was going to be very tough to drive back down off of (Turn) one and drive across the racetrack. I’m just happy to get this thing in Victory Lane.”

The trip to Victory Lane was Schuchart’s 36th with The Greatest Show on Dirt, equaling him with Bixby, OK’s Shane Stewart for 19th on the all-time Series win list. Schuchart now owns four triumphs at Eldora, which sits tied with Jackson Motorplex and The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the tracks he’s won the most at with the World of Outlaws.

Schuchart is also tied as the winningest Pennsylvanian at Eldora in World of Outlaws competition. He, Tim Shaffer (Aliquippa, PA), and Brent Marks (Myerstown, PA) all own four wins apiece.

Perhaps most importantly, Schuchart knocked the first win of the season monkey from his back. With seven top fives, including three podiums heading into Friday, the speed of the Shark Racing #1S had unquestionably been there. But with a zero in the win column, pressure had begun to build.

“It’s definitely huge to get that pressure off your back,” Schuchart admitted. “I feel just as good as anybody out here. I feel like we have the team to compete at the highest level and compete at the top. It’s just making those calls. Sometimes it’s me putting the wrong setup in the thing like last week at Haubstadt. It’s just learning and trial and error over the years of making these things right.”

Schuchart’s path to victory began quickly. The Hanover, PA native lined up third on the grid aboard the Drydene/DuraMAX machine with Brad Sweet and Abreu in front of him. Both Sweet and Abreu opted for the cushion in the first set of corners when the green flew. Schuchart decided to roll the middle and sailed by the top two.

From there, Schuchart maintained a decent advantage throughout the race. He was never able to pull too far ahead but kept those behind him at bay.

Meanwhile, a war erupted for spots within the top five as Abreu, Sweet, and Donny Schatz swapped spots in the early going. The Big E was in tip top shape allowing that trio to utilize many lanes as they battled for the runner-up spot. Even with racing each other, Schuchart stayed within their sights.

It wasn’t until Abreu fully established control of second that he was able to really begin to chip away at Schuchart’s advantage. Traffic helped Abreu have that one last chance as the white flag flew, but he didn’t quite have enough to hold back Schuchart after swiping the lead briefly. Schuchart felt appreciative that it was Abreu who offered the challenge and grateful he was able to best him.

“Rico is a class act guy on and off the track,” Schuchart said. “Him and Ricky Warner make a great team. They’re really tough to beat right now. They’re really fast everywhere we go.”

Abreu settled for second aboard the Rico Abreu Racing #24. The St. Helena, CA native continues to flex his early season muscle with his third World of Outlaws podium of the season and the 31st of his career. With Schuchart’s execution on the final lap, Abreu didn’t feel he could’ve done much more in search of the win.

“I was just waiting for him to slip one time,” Abreu explained. “I knew it was getting down to the wire there. It just comes down to a matter of sticking that last corner and him taking my lane away just startled my car a little bit to get back down to get a run. It was just smart racing on his end. Our car was unbelievable tonight.”

Rounding out the top three was 10-time Series champion Donny Schatz. The 45 year old looked smooth all race and appeared he may challenge for the win. But traffic in his lanes slowed Schatz enough to keep him from the top of the board. The third-place effort marked his first podium of the season and the 741st of his career.

“We were kind of hanging on there at the end, but I kind of knew that about 10 laps in,” Schatz said. “I had to get the wing back to stay with them. We can work from there. It’s a respectable finish for the night and gives us an opportunity for tomorrow.”

Completing the top five was Brad Sweet and David Gravel. With Carson Macedo finishing sixth, Sweet trimmed Macedo’s points lead down to only eight markers.

The night’s KSE Racing Hard Charger was Kyle Larson with a 22nd to 10th drive aboard Paul Silva’s #57.

Early in the night Logan Schuchart collected his third Simpson Performance Products QuickTime Award of the year and the 34th of his career.

CASE #No1EngineOil Heat One was topped by Brad Sweet (222nd of career). NOS Energy Drink Heats Two through Four were claimed by Sheldon Haudenschild (81st of career), Logan Schuchart (105th of career), and Donny Schatz (506th of career).

The MicroLite Last Chance Showdown victory went to Kraig Kinser.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Midgets Debut at Humboldt, 81 Speedway in Kansas Doubleheader

Jones atop points standings, Torgerson teams with Thorson for Fri-Sat swing

HUMBOLDT, KS (May 3, 2023) – The Xtreme Outlaw Midget Series presented by Toyotadives into its debut in Kansas this weekend with a Friday-Saturday doubleheader, May 5-6, at Humboldt Speedway and 81 Speedway.

The field will compete for $4,000 grand prizes on both nights, joined by Non-Wing Sprint Cars and Factory Stocks at Humboldt on Friday, then the Sprint Cars and 316 Mods at 81 on Saturday.

Though the Xtreme Outlaw Series has yet to visit either venue, both tracks have hosted Midget competition in the past. Both POWRi and USAC have taken their national Midget series to each and put on programs that showcase the speed Midgets are capable of. At 3/8 of a mile, 81 Speedway will take over as the biggest track the Series has visited since its inception last year.

Tickets for each event will be on sale at the gate on race day. If you can’t be at the track, stream all the action live on your personal devices with a FAST PASS subscription to DIRTVision.

Here are the drivers to watch and storylines to follow this weekend:

NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN – After posting back-to-back top-five finishes in the last two Series races, Kyle Jones has taken over the points lead by 13 over Cannon McIntosh.

Jones, 29, of Kennedale, TX, put his Spike/Stanton, PDIDiesel.com #7U on the podium in the Saturday night portion of the Xtreme Outlaw Showdown in Du Quoin back in March, then followed that up with a fourth-place run at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 three weeks ago.

He and the Trifecta Motorsports team now ride into Humboldt Speedway on Friday where they competed together in 2020, resulting in a 13th-to-ninth charge for Jones in his first start at the track.

ON THE RISE – Cannon McIntosh jumped a total of six spots in the Series points standings after his second win of the season three weeks ago at I-55, and now rides 13 points behind leader Kyle Jones in second place.

McIntosh, of Bixby, OK, has been keeping his skills sharp in the downtime this season, wheeling a Micro Sprint on a weekly basis at Millbridge Speedway for his team’s Micro program at Dave Mac-Barnhill Motorsports. Five Feature wins there already this year has proved its benefits for the 20yr-old Toyota Racing Development driver as he continues the chase for his first national Midget series championship.

McIntosh has previously visited Humboldt on multiple occasions, last making the trip out in 2020, where he finished 11th in a POWRi event during his tenure with Keith Kunz Motorsports. Prior to that, he made starts in 2019 (DNF), and recorded his best finish there in 2017 – a fifth-place run with his family team, then known as Dave Mac Motorsports.

THE CLIMB BACK – Making her debut at both venues this weekend, Jade Avedisian has some work to do to reclaim the Series points lead after dropping back to third in the standings three weeks ago.

The 16yr-old Californian struggled at I-55, fading back to 16th from her seventh-place starting spot and giving up the points lead she held coming into the race. Historically, I-55 has not been Avedisian’s cup of tea, but Humboldt and 81 will be clean slates. She’s yet to compete in any capacity at either venue, which gives her a brand-new opportunity for redemption this weekend.

Though she’s raced on big 1/4-miles like Humboldt before, Saturday will be her first Xtreme Outlaw start on a 3/8-mile track. The Series has yet to visit a track larger in distance than the 1/3-mile of I-55.

BACK IN THE SADDLE – Climbing back behind the wheel of a Midget for the first time since January, Ashton Torgerson has teamed with Tanner Thorson Racing this weekend to take on the Kansas doubleheader.

Torgerson, 16, of Glendale, AZ, was injured in a scary incident at the Chili Bowl Nationals in January where he was ejected from the seat of his car after flipping several times down the backstretch. Torgerson sat out for several weeks to recover but has since made multiple Micro Sprint and Winged Sprint Car starts in his efforts to get back in the racing groove. Friday at Humboldt will be his first official Midget start since the night of his accident.

Like several others in the field, Torgerson will be making his first appearance with the Xtreme Outlaws, as well as his debut at both tracks.

BEEN THERE, RACED THAT – While several competitors will be making their Midget debut at Humboldt this weekend, Zach Daum will be one of the veterans in the field with prior experience.

Like McIntosh, Daum raced the POWRi event at Humboldt in 2020, and finished fourth behind Daison Pursley, Kaylee Bryson and winner Buddy Kofoid.

Daum, of Pocahontas, IL, moved up five spots in the Series standings after a runner-up finish to McIntosh at I-55 three weeks ago. He now sits sixth – 57 points back of leader Jones in pursuit of his second consecutive Xtreme Outlaw points championship.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Eldora Speedway Welcomes World of Outlaws for #LetsRaceTwo

Double header is first two of five scheduled Eldora races in 2023ROSSBURG, OH (May 2, 2023) – Eldora Speedway has been a staple of the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car tour since its debut in 1978, and that trend will continue this weekend.“The Big E” will elevate its status as the most visited track in World of Outlaws history when The Greatest Show on Dirtreturns for #LetsRaceTwo Friday-Saturday, May 5-6. Eldora’s 230 races stand atop the list of tracks that the World of Outlaws have invaded, and that number will grow to 232 as Eldora continues to cement its significance in Sprint Car Racing history.Fans will see the top Winged Warriors and Non-Wing Warriors battling both nights as well with the United States Auto Club (USAC) Non-Wing Sprint Cars accompanying the World of Outlaws for the weekend.Let’s look at some of the weekend’s top storylines:CHAMPIONSHIP BATTLE: The trio atop the World of Outlaws standings – Carson Macedo, Brad Sweet, and David Gravel – will carry their tight battle into Eldora, where they’ve all found success.Macedo leads the charge with six consecutive top fives entering the weekend aboard the Jason Johnson Racing #41. Eldora has been especially kind to Macedo in recent years. In his last 10 visits, the Lemoore, CA native has posted five podiums, a 4.4 average finish, and a pair of victories.Sweet and his Kasey Kahne Racing crew trail Macedo by only 12 markers. “The Big Cat” has visited Eldora Victory Lane on three occasions with the World of Outlaws, including two Kings Royals (’13 & ’19). While his recent results aren’t quite on par with Macedo, Sweet still has managed a trio of top fives in his last four starts at the Rossburg, OH oval.A DNF this past Saturday put Gravel 48 points out of the lead, but Eldora is a prime facility for the Big Game Motorsports driver to make up ground. Four of Gravel’s 80 career Series victories have occurred at “The House that Earl Built” including two last July. The Watertown, CT native also topped the All-Star Circuit of Champions’ Governor’s Reign for a $52,000 payday in 2020.LACK OF BACK TO BACK: Eldora has given fans a variety of winners over the last few years. In the track’s last 16 races, no driver has won consecutive trophies, even though four competitors have claimed more than one main event during that stretch. The man who will have the chance to break the trend this Friday is St. Helena, CA’s Rico Abreu. The 31-year-old topped last September’s BeFour the Crowns Showdown to collect his 10th career Series victory. Abreu has already won twice this season (Lincoln Speedway & 81 Speedway), and one more tally in the win column would be his personal best for one season with The Greatest Show on Dirt.ELDORA EXCELLENCE: It’s fitting that the most recent driver to go back-to-back at Eldora is the one who has dominated the ‘The Big E” over stints of his career – Donny Schatz. The 10-time Series champion has claimed a whopping 17 Eldora triumphs during his tenure with the World of Outlaws. It’s the third winningest track on his record, and only Steve Kinser (41 wins) and Sammy Swindell (30 wins) have been more successful at Eldora. During one remarkable stretch from 2016 to 2019, Schatz topped nine of 16 Eldora Features. This weekend presents Schatz with an opportunity to shake off a recent slump aboard the Tony Stewart/Curb Agajanian Racing #15.SHARK STRENGTH: Eldora Speedway is a track that the Shark Racing duo of Logan Schuchart and Jacob Allen have found plenty of success at during their nine years on the tour.Schuchart has been especially strong. The Hanover, PA native has made three trips to Eldora Victory Lane – most recently in September of 2021. Schuchart has also podiumed in 10 of his last 24 Series appearances. He enters the weekend fourth in points.Allen has also been plenty productive. Of his 126 career top 10s, 10 of them have come at Eldora Speedway including a pair of top fives. Allen is fresh off his fifth best finish of the season and hopes to build more momentum at a track where he’s had speed in the past.BAYSTON’S PROGRESS: Eldora proved to be a struggle for Spencer Bayston in the early part of his career, but he’s turned that narrative around. In his first eight World of Outlaws starts at Eldora, Bayston wasn’t able to tally a top 10. In the six starts he’s made since, the CJB Motorsports pilot has missed the top 10 only twice and posted a best finish of fourth on two occasions. The Lebanon, IN native looks to continue improving and stand on the podium at least once this weekend. Bayston is also a former Eldora winner – topping a 2017 USAC Midget race at the track.EVERYBODY AT THE BIG E: On top of the strong crop of World of Outlaws full-timers, #LetsRaceTwo is expected to attract many more talented gassers.Last July, Brent Marks filled his wallet at Eldora by winning both The Historical Big One ($100,000) and Kings Royal ($175,000). Four of Marks’ 12 career World of Outlaws wins have come at Eldora (33%).Tyler Courtney is stout no matter the kind of vehicle he’s in at Eldora. “Sunshine” has racked up 13 wins at the half-mile between Winged Sprint Cars, Non-Wing Sprint Cars, Midgets, and Silver Crown Cars. Among those is a Kings Royal triumph – currently his lone World of Outlaws victory.Even Lance Dewease and the Kreitz Racing crew plan to depart from the porch in Pennsylvania to make the trip one state west. More invaders expected include Justin Peck, Buddy Kofoid, Anthony Macri, and many more.Local talents including the likes of Travis Philo, Cole Duncan, and others could also contend for impressive finishes. For tickets to #LetsRaceTwo, CLICK HERE.If you can’t make it to the track, catch all of the action on DIRTVision.THIS WEEKEND AT A GLANCEWHEN AND WHEREFriday and Saturday May 5-6 at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OHON THE INTERNETWorld of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series

THE THUNDER ROLLS: Dairyland Showdown at Mississippi Thunder Speedway Keeps Growing in Third Year

A massive purse, camping, corn hole tournament, wine tour, and more make up the marquee event weekend

FOUNTAIN CITY, WI – May 2, 2023 – When Mississippi Thunder Speedway promoter Tyrone Lingenfelter and his team created the Dairyland Showdown in 2021, he knew it would be a marquee event for the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Models.

What he didn’t realize was how fast it would grow.

In two years, the Wisconsin event has gone from a two-day show to an epic three-day spectacular and one of the highest paydays on the Series schedule. The third annual Dairyland Showdown on May 4-6 will pay a total weekend purse of $264,000, including a $50,000-to-win finale on Saturday, May 6.

That Saturday winner’s share was one of Lingenfelter’s initial goals.

“I shouldn’t say I didn’t think we’d get to this point; I just didn’t know how fast it would be,” Lingenfelter said. “Our goal was to someday get to fifty-thousand to win. It’s pretty cool that we could do that in the second year already.

“I think it just goes out as a thank you to the fans and drivers that have supported the event. It’s grown every single year. We get more campers each year. Our driver count went up the first two years, and I expect it to go up even more again this year.”

While racing highlights the three-day event, it’s only the beginning of what fans can expect.

One aspect that’s grown since the event’s inception is camping, which has led to more activities to supplement the on-track action.

“The camping aspect gives you the opportunity to have a guaranteed fan base because they’re there all weekend long,” Lingenfelter said. “It’s part of the reason we started doing all of the events we have. We have the golf tournament, the corn hole tournament, and the wine tour. We want to make sure everyone that comes here for the weekend gets the biggest bang for their buck, not just on the track but off.

“I think the biggest way of doing that is keeping everybody busy all weekend long.”

While many events across the country have held golf and cornhole tournaments, the geography of the Wisconsin/Minnesota border allows for something different—a wine tour.

It’s the second year, fans can enjoy a tour of the area’s wineries, giving them another option while they wait for racing to start.

“The wine tour was actually Hailey Towner’s idea,” Lingenfelter said. “She works in the office with us. We have a couple of wineries that are pretty close by. It seemed like a really good idea. Last year was the first year of it, and it went really well and this year we’ve already got more people signed up.

“It seems to be well-received by a lot of drivers. It’s like, ‘Hey, my wife wants to come along, and now she’s got something she’s looking forward to on Saturday.’ That’s where I think we’ve gotten the most uptick from fans.”

The racing and off-track activities allowed for the Dairyland Showdown to grow to where it is in its third year. But Lingenfelter and his crew are also excited because fans in the upper Midwest can start their season off with a bang, he said.

“People are going to get the opportunity to come out right off the bat and see a big $50,000-to-win show,” Lingenfelter said. “The World of Outlaws Late Models, the best drivers in the country, are going to be in their backyard, and I’m just pleased that we’re the ones to be able to host it.

“We’ve had a lot of anticipation. A lot of things we’ve been working up to. It’s pretty exciting for us to be able to start things off with a bang. It’s almost like our Daytona 500.”

The World of Outlaws CASE Late Models head to Mississippi Thunder Speedway for the third annual Dairyland Showdown on May 4-6, including the second $50,000-to-win payday of the 2023 season.

Daniels, Mees Continue Battle for Supremacy at Ventura Short Track

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (May 2, 2023) – Progressive American Flat Track will conclude its early-season run of four Short Tracks with the inaugural Ventura Short Track this Saturday, May 6, at Ventura Raceway in Ventura, California. It’s somewhat unusual to have four Short Tracks throughout an entire campaign, let alone in the opening six races. The first three delivered huge thrills and significant developments for the 2023 Championship, and the same can be expected again this weekend. Together with the Mission Dallas Half-Mile presented by Roof Systems, this year’s first four ovals have already begun to reshuffle the pecking order. Current Mission SuperTwins presented by S&S Cycle title leader Dallas Daniels (No. 32 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07 DT) and reigning premier-class champion Jared Mees (No. 1 Indian Motorcycle/Rogers Racing/SDI Racing FTR750) have earned two wins apiece and currently rank 1-2 in the standings. Mees comes in with soaring confidence after having gotten the better of Daniels in their most recent two matchups. That said, rising star Daniels has shown no real weaknesses or made any major mistakes, allowing him to build up an early-season advantage with no finish worse than second. That’s a mighty high standard that promises to ratchet up the pressure on Mees (and everyone else) should he continue to perform at that level. Two-time Champion Briar Bauman (No. 3 Parts Plus/Jacob Companies KTM 890 Duke) expected a rollercoaster of a season when he originally committed to racing a developing platform in the KTM 890 Duke. And while he’s gotten that, he’s continued to be a factor, securing a pair of podiums and three top-five finishes in the bike’s earliest days. He should only get better as the season evolves and Bauman is better able to exploit the bike’s inherent strengths. JD Beach (No. 95 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07 DT) is the season’s only winner other than Daniels and Mees. While that came in the TT discipline in which he stands as one of the sport’s all-time greats, Beach also won a pair of Short Tracks a season ago. He’s more than capable of doing the same this weekend, which would be the ideal way to rebound back after crashing out of podium contention in Dallas. Independent Indians pilots Davis Fisher (No. 67 Rackley Racing/Bob Lanphere’s BMC Racing Indian FTR750), Brandon Robinson (No. 44 Mission Roof Systems Indian FTR750), Jarod Vanderkooi (No. 20 JMC Motorsports/Fairway Ford Indian FTR750) and Ben Lowe (No. 25 Rackley Racing/Mission Foods Indian FTR750) line positions 5-8 in the standings. The first three have already stood on the podium this season while Lowe came close with a fourth of his own. Meanwhile, the factory Royal Enfields of Johnny Lewis (No. 10 Moto Anatomy X Powered by Royal Enfield 650) and Ryan Wells (No. 94 Moto Anatomy X Powered by Royal Enfield 650) have earned a top five and multiple top tens already in their first season of Mission SuperTwins competition – while demonstrating the potential to place even higher. And finally, Short Track extraordinaire Sammy Halbert (No. 69 Martin Trucking/Castrol Harley-Davidson XR750) will be back on track this weekend. While he piloted a Yamaha MT-07 to a pair of top tens at the DAYTONA ST opener, he’ll be armed with the venerable Harley-Davidson XR750 this weekend with designs on adding yet another chapter to its multi-decade legend. Parts Unlimited AFT Singles presented by KICKER The Parts Unlimited AFT Singles presented by KICKER class has emerged as a red-hot battleground for manufacturers in recent seasons, and 2023 is shaping up to be one to remember in that regard. First it was the KTMs, with Kody Kopp (No. 1 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing 450 SX-F), Max Whale(No. 18 Red Bull KTM Factory Racing 450 SX-F) and Dalton Gauthier (No. 79 D&D Racing/Certified KTM 450 SX-F) sweeping the season’s first four races wins. Then it was the Hondas, as the American Honda-backed Turner Honda trio of Trent Lowe (No. 48 American Honda/Mission Foods CRF450R), Chase Saathoff (No. 88 American Honda/Mission Foods CRF450R), and Morgen Mischler (No. 13 American Honda/Mission Foods CRF450R) struck back by locking down the podium in Dallas. Who will be next? While both KTM and Honda will look for further successes, there’s a real chance that other marques will now take their turn in the spotlight. The Estenson Racing Yamaha team that secured back-to-back Parts Unlimited AFT Singles titles in ‘20-’21 courtesy of the aforementioned Daniels still boasts one of the most talented line-ups in the paddock with Trevor Brunner (No. 21 Estenson Racing Yamaha YZ450F) and Tom Drane (No. 59 Estenson Racing Yamaha YZ450F). And the 1st Impressions Husqvarna Racing effort feels primed for a huge weekend with Chad Cose(No. 49 1st Impressions Race Team/Husqvarna Racing FC450) regularly running up front and James Ott (No. 19 1st Impressions Race Team/Husqvarna Racing FC450) having already earned a runner-up finish at the Senoia ST earlier this season. There will be plenty to keep fans entertained at the track on Saturday as well, including numerous vendors, plenty of food and beverage options, music, and motorcycle parking. General Admission Grandstand tickets are just $40 (kids 12 and under $5), while Reserved Grandstand tickets are just $10 more. Pit Pass Upgrades are also available for purchase, which provide all-day access to the pits where fans can scope out the world’s fastest dirt track motorcycles and get up close and personal with the stars of the sport. Visit https://www.tixr.com/groups/americanflattrack/events/ventura-short-track-61345 to purchase your tickets today! Gates will open for fans at 6:00 p.m. ET (3:00 p.m. PT) with Opening Ceremonies scheduled to begin at 9:30 p.m. ET (6:30 p.m. PT). For those that can’t catch the live action from the circuit, FansChoice.tv is the live streaming home of Progressive AFT. Burton Finishes 20th At Dover

May 1, 2023

Harrison Burton and the No. 21 DEX Imaging Mustang finished 20th in Monday’s rain-delayed Wurth 400 at Dover Motor Speedway.

It was his fourth top-20 finish of the season and his third in the past five races.

Burton started Monday’s 400-miler from 31st place after qualifying was rained out and the starting line-up was set by metrics.

He was back in 35th when the Competition Caution flag flew at Lap 20 but had bounced back to 24th at Lap 85 when the caution flag was displayed for a crash involving Kyle Larson.

Burton pitted under the ensuing yellow flag and moved up to 21st by Lap 120 when the first Stage came to a conclusion.

When the second Stage ended at Lap 250, Burton was again in 21st place but one lap behind the leaders.

Burton broke into the top 20 as the third and final segment of the race got underway. He was running 19th when he headed to pit road for a green-flag stop with 72 laps remaining but spun as he entered pit road.

He was able to get the DEX Imaging Mustang turned around with no damage but dropped to 21st place, three laps behind.

With 43 laps remaining, he rejoined the top 20 and was running 20th when Joey Logano crashed to bring out the yellow flag with 14 laps remaining. Taking the wave-around allowed Burton to regain one of his lost laps, and he finished the race in 20th place.

Burton and the No. 21 Wood Brothers team now turn their attention to Sunday’s Advent Health 400 at Kansas Speedway.

dAVID TARTER MEMORIAL ON TAP FOR NARC SPRINT CARS IN CHICO ON SATURDAY

(5/2/23) Chico, California – The high-powered 900-horsepower NARC 410 Sprint Cars will be making their only appearance of the year at Silver Dollar Speedway on Saturday, May 6th for the 11th Annual David Tarter Memorial.  At stake will be a $3,500.00 winner’s payday to the winner of the 35-lap feature, plus other bonuses.

The race is run in honor of David Tarter, who tragically lost his life on June 8th, 2012, in a freak pit accident at Silver Dollar.

The event marks the fifth stop of the 22-race NARC campaign that travels throughout California, Oregon, and Washington.  To date, the NARC series has produced three winners in four races, led by 17-year-old driving sensation Corey Day of Clovis, who has scored two victories.

“After getting rained out earlier this season at Chico, it great to finally get a chance to return to Silver Dollar,” said series GM Jim Allen.  “This place is not only a fan favorite, but our teams love coming here also because the racing is always good.  It’s super-competitive and nobody ever runs away and hides at this track as proven at last year’s Tarter Memorial.  It was an exciting show and we expect more of the same.”

When you figure in lap leader money contributed by the Tarter Family and sponsors, this show represents a very lucrative payday for the winner. The top three drivers will earn lap money for each lap in the feature event ($50-$30-$20., so there are benefits to running up front.

Since 2013, there have been five winners of the Tarter Memorial, including the all-time leader Kyle Hirst with five triumphs. Hirst is a four-time NARC King of the West champion.  Corey Day is the defending race champion, while Sean Becker, Craig Stidham, and Justin Sanders join him as one-time winners.

Twenty-six drivers have parked it at Chico’s victory lane since 2001. Tim Kaeding has amassed the most triumphs with sixteen, while Jonathan Allard has done so nine times, and Brent Kaeding is a five-time winner. Corey Day won the lone event at SDS last season.

Who to Watch

Day has been a force to reckon with in 2023 with the NARC 410 Sprint Series. Racing for car owner and former World of Outlaw champion Jason Meyers, he has yet to finish off the podium all season.  He currently leads Aromas driver Justin Sanders by 13-points and Fresno’s Dominic Scelzi by 15.

Two-time defending champion Scelzi got a big monkey off his back last week in Antioch by winning his first win with NARC in 2023. Dominic was third in the lone appearance that NARC made in 2022. However, he hit the “pay dirt” in 2021 for his sole Silver Dollar Speedway triumph in thirteen career series starts.

Sanders looks to finally open his 2023 NARC winning account up at Chico for himself and car owner Demo Mittry. Two of his thirteen total NARC tour triumphs have come at Silver Dollar, achieved in 2019 and 2021.  Of his seven starts at the quarter-mile clay oval, five have resulted in top-ten finishes, including last year when he posted a second-place finish and marked his fourth top-five. Sanders won this event in 2021, but that was when it was a 360 Sprint Car show.

Shane Golobic is the defending Silver Dollar Speedway champion and wants to continue his commanding grip on the facility. Despite never winning a NARC-sanctioned event in Chico, the Fremont flyer has seven top fives and twelve top tens in nineteen main event starts. Last year Golobic finished sixth when the checkered flag dropped.  Golobic will be returning to driver duties of the Works Limited #57 entry.

Four-time Silver Dollar Speedway title winner Andy Forsberg will be competing. The Auburn-based racer has won a total of four NARC feature events in his stellar career.  The most recent was April 5th, 2003. Forsberg has eight podiums, eleven fives, and twenty-three top-ten finishes in forty-three NARC starts.

Sean Becker, from Roseville, will be at the site where he has captured seven track championships.  Becker has won four times in NARC competition at Chico and 11 times overall.  The 2005 NARC series champion, will be piloting the Antaya Motorsports 16A this weekend.  He also won the first edition of the David Tarter Memorial in 2013 when it was an unsanctioned event. In fifty starts, Becker has generated thirty-four top tens, seventeen top fives, and nine podium finishes.

Also competing in the stellar field on Saturday will be Chase Johnson of Penngrove, Justyn Cox and Ryan Bernal of Roseville, Oakley’s Dylan Bloomfield, Kaleb Montgomery of Templeton, Campbell’s Bud Kaeding, Joey Ancona of Concord, Benicia’s Billy Aton, Oregon’s Tanner Holmes, Bill Smith of Sparks, and Tucson’s Nick Parker, and many more!
