LE MANS, France (June 15, 2017) – Corvette Racing declared itself ready for its 18th attempt at the 24 Hours following Thursday’s final two qualifying sessions with both Chevrolet Corvette C7.Rs within 1.2 seconds of the fastest time in the GTE Pro category.
Antonio Garcia put the No. 63 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Chevrolet Corvette C7.R on the second row in the class, and Tommy Milner’s best lap in the No. 64 Mobil 1/SiriusXM Corvette assured that both cars will be in the thick of the fight in this weekend’s twice-around-the-clock endurance classic. LEGUIZAMON RECEIVES JRI SHOCKS HARD CHARGER AWARD AT IMS
INDIANAPOLIS (June 15, 2017) – In a tough battle that lasted through the last laps of the final Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda round at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Baltazar Leguizamon of Buenos Aires, Argentina, emerged victorious as the JRi Shocks Hard Charger.

Brad Sweet won his fourth race of the year Friday night in Knoxville, Iowa.
Brad moves into second in season point standings.
Daryn Pittman nearly won Tuesday at Eagle Raceway, finishing a close second to NASCAR driver Kyle Larson.
NAPA AUTO PARTS hosted guests with hospitality and a meet and greet from Brad Tuesday at Eagle Raceway. Customers of NAPA including Midas, Tires Plus and Firestone were all on hand for a fun night at the trace track.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (June 14) – Robert Hight has competed in the semifinals of four of the last six NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events, won eight first-round matchups and set the fastest speed in six of 10 race weekends this season.

Allen Johnson’s Marathon Petroleum Dodge Dart Strengthening Performance Heading into Home Race
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. (June 14, 2017) – There are only eight racetracks on the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing circuit that Marathon Petroleum/J&J Racing driver Allen Johnson has yet to win at and his home track of Bristol Dragway is one of them. Johnson has been to the final round 59 times in his 20-year Pro Stock career and surprisingly, only one of those has been at Bristol Dragway back in 2012. A quarter-final finish is what Cruz and team needed heading into Thunder Valley this weekend. The momentum is moving in the right direction according to Cruz, “We stopped in Indy to take a closer look at the clutch issue that kept us from going past the second round in Englishtown. So, look for us to have a better handle on that in Bristol. We’re seeing the other changes we’ve made throughout the season beginning to pay off, and we’re just seven points away from a place in the Countdown. We’ve really come a long way since the start of the season.”

BRISTOL, Tenn. (June 13) – There’s a popular drag strip in the western U.S. planted at the base of the Rocky Mountains. The scene is certainly beautiful although not necessarily fast. There’s another quarter-mile of racing pavement on the opposite side of the continent that is whittled into the ancient, rocky core of the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee; it’s beautiful, it’s really fast, and it’s extremely loud.

MOORESVILLE, NC, June 13, 2017 – The legendary Ford GT will return to the Circuit des 24 Heures in Le Mans, France this week to defend its 2016 GTE Pro Class victory, which was won by the No. 68 Ford Chip Ganassi Racing team of Joey Hand, Dirk Müller and Sébastien Bourdais who due to an injury, will be replaced this year by INDYCAR champion Tony Kanaan.
