Tim Allison Update

This past weekend was a two weekend and a visit to Montpilier Indiana for our first race at their speedway and was a co-sanctioned race. Like everyone one else we drive all the way over and the weather was 0 percent of rain and guess what, we got there unloaded and fired up the car and just got ready to hot lap and the skies opened up and was a complete down pour and flooded everything and mother nature won again. What a disappointment.

Sunday we were at Waynesfield Raceway and were going to run along with the All Star Circuit of Champions speed week show which would have been a great all sprint car show and guess what the sun came out and never guess what happen next?? we drove over only to have the same thing happen again as the skies opened up as we was in line to get in the pits and the rain hit again so bad and flooded the track and we got rained out again:( ,, mother nature has not been nice at all,
this week the car will be on display at the buffalo wild wings car show in lima ohio as we are off this week and then the following week we have a mini speed week with 4 days of racing in a row “) , lest hope mother nature will not ruin that , so till our next update i thank you for all your help and support and pray for sunshine as it is hurting all racing all across the united states lately, ,have a great day!! thanks again, tim

Six-time world champion Jeg Coughlin Jr. will lead the effort behind the wheel of the JEGS.com Elite Motorsports Camaro in Pro Stock and his JEGS.com Corvette roadster in Super Gas. Third-generation racer Troy Coughlin Jr. will be driving the SealMaster Top Fuel dragster fielded by Kalitta Motorsports and his father, Troy Coughlin, will compete in the J&A Service NHRA Pro Mod Series with his twin-turbo JEGS.com Chevrolet Corvette C7. Ultra 4 Stampede–Team GenRight

I am excited to announce that I was able to put myself and Team GenRight on top of
the box once again this last weekend at the Ultra4 Stampede in Rancho Cordova, CA. The
track was a Short Course style based track with multiple rough man-made rock sections that
were taking cars out all weekend. It was a 2 mile loop that was causing as much or more
carnage than a race like King Of The Hammers. We had perfect weather which made for
ideal race conditions and very inviting for all spectators. This was the first time I raced at
this track as part of the Ultra4 series but I was no stranger to the venue, as in 2015, I took
We arrived in Rancho Cordova, CA late in the afternoon on Thursday after the 8
hour drive up North. Thursday night we unloaded and got the pit setup for practice

Inside Line Promotions – PETALUMA, Calif. (June 19, 2017) – Giovanni Scelzi produced a pair of top fives last weekend to give him 10 top-five finishes in 16 races this season.

Scelzi and Roth Motorsports kicked off the weekend on Friday during the David Tarter Memorial at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif., where the team set quick time during qualifying. Scelzi then advanced from fourth to second place in a heat race before maneuvering from fourth to third place in the dash. That lined him up on the inside of the second row for the main event. “Well what can you really say? We have a lot of work to do moving forward but I’m sure Richard Childress Racing will be up for the challenge. We changed just about everything on the No. 3 Dow Salutes Veterans Chevy from the time we unloaded on Friday morning until the Checkered flag. During the race we ended up losing a lap to the race leader and even though we were in position to try and earn that lap back, luck was never on our side today. I’m glad Michigan International Speedway is behind us but proud of the team for the effort they put in today. They never gave up.”

After running just outside the top 10 for much of Sunday’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway, Ryan Blaney and the crew of his No. 21 Omnicraft Ford Fusion put themselves in position to contend for a win at the end.

BRISTOL, Tenn. (June 18) — Two-time world champion Troy Coughlin won the 17th annual NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals Sunday to continue his rapid ascension up the championship points standings in the J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.

Just a little over a week ago, the 2012 and 2015 titlist was a distance fifth in the rankings, 234 points behind early-season class dominator Mike Castellana, but a runner-up finish last weekend in Englishtown, N.J., and Sunday’s win at Bristol Dragway, coupled with a rough couple of races by Castellana and others ahead of him in the points, have helped Coughlin rise to second place, 105 out of the lead. ERIE, MI (June 18, 2017) – Chad Blonde made it 3 big Engine Pro Sprints On Dirt presented by ARP wins in two weekends at Butler Motor Speedway Saturday night. Blonde drove from his 6th place starting position to take the $2,100 win in the Driven Racing Oil Battlegrounds Bash WW III presented by Jim Coffey & Son Plumbing & Heating feature.

On a night where strong winds and high temperatures made track preparation a challenge, Butler’s crew was up to it and the race track held up remarkably well. The action was fast and furious on the smooth, high banked 3/8-mile with the large crowd enjoying plenty of passing. The SOD feature was over shortly after 10:30 PM. BRISTOL, Tenn. (June 18) — Two-time Pro Stock world champion Erica Enders came up two feet short of what would have been her third final-round appearance of the 2017 season after a close semifinal contest with class points leader Bo Butner Sunday afternoon at Bristol Dragway.

After beating Alan Prusiensky and one of her Elite Motorsports’ teammates, Vincent Nobile, earlier in the day, Enders got a .007-second jump on Butner in their race and held the lead until somewhere around halftrack when the winner of the Houston and Atlanta races passed her and inched away to take the finish line stripe by .006 seconds. (June 18) — Jeg Coughlin Jr.’s hopes of converting his 23rd career No. 1 qualifying effort into a victory was foiled in the quarterfinal round when his JEGS.com/Elite Performance Chevrolet Camaro was plagued by severe tire shake in his race against part-time teammate Alex Laughlin Sunday at Bristol Dragway.

Coughlin had a marginal jump on Laughlin at the starting line but barely made it a foot before his huge rear Goodyear slicks started to square up. He really had no choice but to abort the run to avoid any catastrophe, as Laughlin sped away for an easy 6.769-second, 204.54-mph win.
