Notes: This weekend, Team Chevy with John Force Racing (JFR) took on the unique 4-wide racing format at zMAX Dragway at Charlotte Motor SpeedwayJFR’s Austin Prock rebounded from what he considered to be a disappointing weekend at Reading, to win the NHRA 4-Wide Carolina Nationals and extend his lead in the standings in pursuit of his second consecutive NHRA Funny Car World ChampionshipDriving the Cornwell Quality Tools JFR Chevrolet SS Funny Car, Prock scored his 16th career Funny Car win, 20th overall nitro, his 8th win of the season, his 3rd consecutive at zMAX and 3rd consecutive four-wide event winRegular season champion Prock qualified third, and won his first quad with run of 3.926 seconds/329.34 mph defeating Bob Tasca III (runner-up), Alex Laughlin and Hunter GreenIn round two quad, Prock turned on the win light with run of 3.930 seconds/328.78 mph over Daniel Wilkerson (runner-up) Ron Capps and Bob Tasca IIIThe final quad saw Prock beat Hagan, Wilkerson and Green with another consistent run of 3.912 seconds/332.43 mph to hoist the Wally for the second race of the playoffs and only four events to go Beckman, in the PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant JFR Chevrolet SS Funny Car, qualified ninth and cruised to the win in first round elimination quad over Matt Hagan (runner-up), JR Todd and John Smith with a pass 3.939 seconds/328.46.In round two quad, Beckman ran an impressive 3.939 seconds/325.69 mph-the quickest pass of the round, but got beat on holeshots by both Matt Hagan and Chad GreenAfter securing her 57th career No.1 qualifier award, and 5th of 2025 Brittany Force and the Hendrickcars.com JFR Chevrolet top fuel dragster experienced an early exit in the second round. She scored runner-up in Round 1 eliminations with 3.758 seconds/338.34 mph run behind round winner Tony Stewart to move to round two quad.
