Race Highlights:
Richard Childress Racing teammates finished second (Kevin Harvick), third (Austin Dillon) and seventh (Elliott Sadler).
Sadler leads the NASCAR Nationwide Series driver championship point standings over Dillon by three points. Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. ranks third, followed by Sam Hornish and Justin Allgaier.
The No. 2 Chevrolet team is second in the Nationwide Series owner championship point standings, 29 points shy of the No. 18 car’s lead, with the No. 3 team third in the standings and the No. 33 team fifth.
Dillon leads the Sunoco Rookie of the Year standings over Cole Whitt.
Austin Dillon won the $100,000 NASCAR Nationwide Insurance Dash 4 Cash bonus, defeating Sadler, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Michael Annett. Both Dillon and Sadler qualified for the next Dash 4 Cash race and an additional $100,000 bonus at Chicagoland Speedway on July 22.
According to NASCAR’s Loop Data Statistics, Harvick and Dillon ranked second and third, respectively, in Average Running Position, with an average of 3.190 (Harvick) and 3.945 (Dillon).
Harvick earned the second-highest Driver Rating (126.4) and ranked second in NASCAR Loop Data categories for Fastest Drivers Late in a Run, Fastest Laps Run, Fastest on Restarts and Green Flag Speed.
Dillon leads the series in top five finishes (10) and top 10 finishes (13) through the 17 races contested so far this season.
Dillon and Sadler led the field in Green Flag Passes and Quality Passes with 19 each.
Brad Keselowski earned his second Nationwide Series win of the season and was followed to the finish line by Harvick, Dillon, Sam Hornish and Stenhouse.
The next scheduled Nationwide Series race is the STP 300 at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday, July 22. The 18th race of the 2012 season is scheduled to be televised live on ESPN beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern Time and broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
