JOHN FORCE CARRIES ON AT MAPLE GROVE IN SEARCH OF WIN 150
READING, Pa. (September 12, 2018) — Few drivers have had more success at Maple Grove Raceway, site of this week’s Dodge NHRA Nationals, than drag racing legends John Force and Kenny Bernstein.

Between them, the two appeared in 21 finals. They won 10 races. Bernstein is the only driver to have won in both Top Fuel and Funny Car while Force has hoisted more Wally trophies at The Grove than any driver in history (seven). From the first event in 1985 until 1999, a stretch of 14 seasons, one or the other raced for the title every year but, ironically, never in the same year. JOHN FORCE EYES FIFTH CHEVROLET PERFORMANCE U.S. NATIONALS WIN
BROWNSBURG, Ind. (August 29, 2018) — Nearing the end of the second most physically and emotionally challenging season of his pro career, John Force makes his 39th appearance in drag racing’s oldest, largest and richest single event with one goal in mind.

At age 69, the 16-time NHRA world champion is not competing in the 64th annual Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis for any reason other than to win it. He’s not looking to set any age records, he’s not seeking a participation trophy and he’s certainly not expecting any concessions from his peers, some of whom, like daughter Courtney, the current Funny Car points leader, are almost 30 years his junior. BRAINERD INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
BRAINERD, Minn. (Aug. 16, 2018) — Brittany Force, back in her Monster Energy green and black Top Fuel dragster for this weekend’s Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals, heads to Brainerd International Raceway with high hopes as she sits eighth in the Mello Yello points standings. Being in the bottom half of the field isn’t something the reigning world champion is worried about after her team battled from sixth to claim the category crown in 2017.

The Monster Energy team picked 18 of 24 round wins in the final six races of the season and finished the season sweeping the Auto Club Finals. The standout team secured the No. 1 qualifier, won the championship with a second-round victory on Sunday and went on to finish the season with the race win. This season, Force has arguably already overcome her toughest challenge of her career. Continue reading BRITTANY FORCE POISED FOR MORE RACE DAY SUCCESS AT BRAINERD INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY

JOHN FORCE EYES 150th CAREER VICTORY IN EVENT HE HAS WON
MORE THAN ANY OTHER
BRAINERD, Minn. (August 15, 2018) — If John Force is to win his 150th NHRA event before the end of his 42nd pro season, his best opportunity may come this weekend when he drives the PEAK Coolant and Motor Oil Chevrolet Camaro SS in pursuit of the Funny Car championship at the 37th annual Lucas Oil Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway.

At no other venue has the Hall of Fame owner/driver been more successful than at BIR where he has won 11 times in 32 career appearances, where he never has failed to make the starting field and where he has won 78.3 percent of the elimination rounds in which he has been involved (76 of 97).

Coming off a final round triumph over teammate Robert Hight in last week’s independently-produced Night Under Fire at Norwalk, Ohio, the 69-year-old’s confidence is steadily growing as he battles to secure one of the 10 Funny Car starting spots in the upcoming Countdown to the Championship. INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
BRAINERD, Minn. (Aug. 15, 2018) — To say the idea of heading back to Brainerd International Raceway excites two time and reigning world champion Robert Hight is an understatement. The driver of the Auto Club of Southern California Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car made history at last year’s Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals and with two wins already under his belt this season and a solid hold on the No. 3 points position, it’s game on.

“Brainerd is where we set the quickest run in Funny Car history a 3.793-seconds, the first 3.7 Funny Car run,” explained Hight. “It’s a great race track with great fans and usually great racing conditions. BRITTANY FORCE READY TO PEAK JUST IN TIME FOR NHRA
COUNTDOWN TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP
KENT, Wash. (Aug. 01, 2018) — Her reign as Top Fuel world champion has been fraught with frustration but when they raise the curtain on this year’s Countdown to the Championship, no one expects anything but excellence from Brittany Force and the PEAK Coolant and Motor Oil Monster Energy race team.

A graduate of Cal State-Fullerton, Force rolls into Pacific Raceways for this week’s 31st annual CatSpot NHRA Northwest Nationals in eighth place in Top Fuel points, nowhere near where she and crew chief Brian Husen and tuning consultant Alan Johnson expected themselves to be with just three races remaining before the points are adjusted for the Countdown. COURTNEY FORCE TRYING TO REPRISE EARLIER SUCCESSES AT
PACIFIC RACEWAYS
KENT, Wash. (Aug. 01, 2018) — Funny Car points leader Courtney Force resumes her Jekyll-and-Hyde relationship with Pacific Raceways this week when she drives the Advance Auto Parts Chevrolet Camaro SS in pursuit of the Funny Car championship at the 31st annual CatSpot NHRA Northwest Nationals, the final event in the arduous Western Swing.

“It’s a track we’ve won on in the past,” said the 12-time Mello Yello tour winner, “so coming from a decent weekend at Sonoma where we qualified No. 1 (for the 10th time in 15 races) but didn’t have much luck on race day, we’re really hoping to be able to go some rounds at Seattle and finish out the Swing on a positive note.”

Although she has won at Pacific Raceways in both the Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car categories, she has had to deal with some adversity, too. Continue reading COURTNEY FORCE TRYING TO REPRISE EARLIER SUCCESSES AT PACIFIC RACEWAYS
