25 YEARS OF SUCCESS AND COUNTING AT THE BRICKYARD:
Chevrolet leads all other manufacturers with 17 NASCAR Cup Series wins at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, more than five times as many victories as the next closest brand. Chevrolet is the only active manufacturer currently competing in both the NASCAR Cup Series and Verizon IndyCar Series. Chevrolet has not only won at the Brickyard in stock car races a record 17 times, but also has 10 Indianapolis 500 wins to the brand’s credit.

KISSING THE BRICKS:
Chevrolet has kissed the bricks at Indy more than any other manufacturer. Chevrolet has powered nine different Team Chevy winners to glory at the yard of bricks. Leading the way is Chevrolet’s Jeff Gordon who tops all statistical categories at Indianapolis. He has five wins, three poles, 12 top fives, 17 top 10’s at the iconic yard of bricks.

Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will pilot a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 pace car to lead the field to the start of the 25th running of the Big Machine Vodka 400 at the Brickyard.

“I am honored that Chevrolet asked me to drive the Camaro ZL1 Pace Car in one of the biggest races of the year,” Earnhardt said. “The fan in me was already looking forward to this event. It’s a big race. There is a lot at stake since it’s the final chance for the teams and drivers to make the Playoffs. So, I hope to do a good job leading the field to the green flag, but I can promise you I’ll soak in every minute and enjoy the Brickyard in a way I never have before.”

Chevrolet has served as the pace car for all 25 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
