TopLiner™ and Burtin Racing Launch 2026 Trans Am Season with Podium Finish at Sebring International Raceway

Sebring, FLORIDA – March 4, 2026 – TopLiner™ and Burtin Racing opened the 2026 Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli season with a confident and competitive performance at the legendary Sebring International Raceway, setting a positive tone for the development and evolution of the Burtin Racing built TA racecars.
The highly anticipated season opener delivered dramatic Florida weather even before the green flag. Qualifying was canceled due to rain and lightning, resulting with the starting grid based on practice session times. This meant the two TopLiner™ Burtin Racing Chevrolet Camaros starting from P3 and P9. Martin Ragginger in the No. 7 racecar  posted a time of 2:01.491 in practice for third place while Adam Andretti’s commitments to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series prevented him from registering a practice time in the No. 17 car and was regulated to start in the back.
When the race went green Andretti was quick to make up ground, passing Tomy Drissi and establishing himself in P5 by Lap 5. Ragginger meanwhile was comfortable in P3. The excellent Austrian-born pilot was briefly headed by David Pintaric mid-race while Tomy Drissi was forced to retire with seven laps remaining, leaving the way clear for Martin and Adam to guide the TopLiner™ Camaros home in P3 and P4. There were four cautions in all during the race.
On Saturday, February 28 in St. Petersburg, Andretti qualified P10 and finished in P23 in the No. 5 TopLiner™ Toyota Tundra in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
“The start of a new season always brings excitement, and Sebring is one of the toughest places to begin,” said Claudio Burtin, Team Principal of Burtin Racing. “With qualifying canceled, preparation and adaptability became even more important.
