The effort marked another week in which the No. 21 team outpaced its practice results during time trials—a trend that has become a recurring theme this season.Earlier in the day, Berry posted the 29th-fastest lap in practice with a top speed of 91.974 mph, which came on the fourth of his 15 laps in the session. He was 15th on the board among drivers who ran 10 consecutive green-flag laps, averaging 91.212 mph over his first 10 laps. Sunday’s 110-lap, 218.9-mile race through the heart of California’s wine country is scheduled to go green at approximately 3:30 p.m. ET, with Stage breaks planned for Laps 25 and 55. |
