Points Series Tightens as the #MoreMonsterJam Tour Prepares for the Last Stop in Grand Rapids

Baltimore, MD (March 1, 2015) – The Baltimore Monster Jam fans experienced the penultimate round of the #MoreMonsterJam tour and did so with as much excitement as Baltimore could muster!

Friday night, just as the fans were settling into their seats, they all had to get up again to cheer as almost every competition enjoyed a win by a different athlete. Monster Energy and Blue Thunder® enjoyed leadership status until Max-DSM utterly defeated the competition in freestyle, netting it the overall event winner.

Saturday afternoon, Monster Energy made up for lost points by scooping wins in both speedster events, an ATV racing heat, the donut competition, and by obliterating the competitors in freestyle, scoring 5.5 points and taking home the overall event win.

Saturday night, Scooby-DooSM, Monster Mutt® Rottweiler and New Earth AuthoritySM put up a great fight, but an emboldened Grave Digger® racked up point after point throughout the events. In freestyle, Blue Thunder had the crowd on its feet with a technically amazing freestyle, but the judges awarded the trophy to Grave Digger, thus crowning it the overall event champion.

Sunday afternoon, El Toro Loco faced off against Monster Energy, the foremost speedster competitor, and beat Monster Energy in the head to head obstacle course. The penultimate round, however, would ultimately belong to Grave Digger, winning an ATV racing heat race, the Monster Jam Time Trials and Monster Jam Freestyle.
