Austin Dillon Fights Tough-Handling No. 3 American Ethanol Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at Kansas Speedway

“We have a lot of studying and work to do on this No. 3 team, but I’m proud of everyone’s efforts and I know we will get there. We just battled handling issues all weekend long. We started the race loose on entry in turns 3 and 4, and too tight at the bottom of the track. Danny Stockman and the team worked hard all race to make adjustments to the American Ethanol Chevrolet, but our night really suffered when we were bit by a caution flag with about 50 laps remaining. We beat the leaders off pit road but a scoring miscue caused us to lose a lap that we never gained back. We fought back to a 17th-place finish. We’re heading to Charlotte Motor Speedway next and that’s been a strong place for us in the past so I’m ready to get there and represent RCR at our home track.”

Daniel Hemric Records Top-20 Finish with Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet at Kansas Speedway

“On the initial run to start the race we were too tight on the short run and way too tight in traffic. Every run after that Luke Lambert and all the guys on this crew got this No. 8 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet better and better. I thought we were making gains and just got caught with that caution in the middle of green flag pit stops. We had pitted early to try and get track position but that caution came out and trapped us two laps down. We took the wave around, got one of those laps back and from that point on we just tried to race those cars on our lap and get as many positions as possible. We would have liked to have finished better than 18th, but I am proud that these guys never gave up and we got the Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet better and better each run. I’m looking forward to getting back home to Charlotte for the next two weeks. Hopefully, we can race our way into the All-Star Race through the Open, but if not I hope all the fans out there show their support for this No. 8 team in the fan vote.”

Tyler Reddick Claims a Top-10 Finish in Tame the Beast Camaro ZL1 at Kansas Speedway in Second Cup Series Race

“Well, that was a memorable night for the No. 31 Tame The Beast Chevrolet Camaro ZL1! I really appreciate all the hard work from everyone at RCR this weekend. We had a good car, definitely a long run car, and that played to our advantage. As the top line came in throughout the night, I was able to run well up there. Our Tame the Beast Camaro was a little edgy, but handled well for the most part. I got shuffled back on that late race restart, which didn’t do us any favors, but we got another shot at it with the green-white-checkered finish. A top-10 finish in my second Cup outing isn’t bad at all, and I’m looking forward to hopefully having more chances like this in the future.”
