Giovanni Scelzi Tackling Brad Doty Classic and Kings Royal This Week

Inside Line Promotions – FRESNO, Calif. (July 10, 2018) – Giovanni Scelzi is invading Ohio this week for a pair of marquee World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series events.

Scelzi and car owner Bernie Stuebgen are scheduled to compete on Tuesday at Attica Raceway Park in Attica during the Ohio Logistics Brad Doty Classic as well as Thursday through Saturday at Eldora Speedway near Rossburg during the 35th annual Kings Royal.

“There will be a great car count of top-notch drivers each night so we’ll have our work cut out for us,” Scelzi said. “I’m really looking forward to the challenge. We don’t have many laps at either track, but I’ve been to both so hopefully we can put down a good qualifying lap each night and put ourselves in position.”

Scelzi charged from 15th to fifth during his debut at Attica Raceway Park on May 25. He also earned a ninth-place result at the track on June 15.

“That’s a pretty racy track,” he said. “We’ve had two good runs there during All Star competition so now we’ll see how we stack up at Attica with the World of Outlaws.”

Scelzi maneuvered from 15th to eighth during his debut at Eldora Speedway on June 16.

“I really enjoyed racing there,” he said. “You could move all over the track. We made progress throughout the whole night there so I’m excited to go back with what I learned.”
