Cruz Pedregon Looking Forward to Texas

NHRA® Team Report

NHRA Spring Nationals – Houston

Pre-Race Report

After a two-week break from racing and spending time in the shop, Cruz Pedregon and team are looking forward to making progress in Houston. “Royal Purple has been a winner for us three times before, and we’re ready to take advantage of a hot Texas track,” Cruz says.

Crew Chief Aaron Brooks says, “I got to be in the winner’s circle last year in Houston, and I’d really like to be there again…this time with Cruz. It’s a great feeling to be hoisting that Wally at the end of the weekend, and the whole team is really ready to be alongside Cruz for that first one this season.”

“We’re feeling good about the Snap-on Toyota in Houston, and we’ve got an exciting announcement we’ll be making while we’re there,” Cruz says. “So, I’m hoping all the NHRA fans will follow us on social media and come out and enjoy a great time at the track.”

Local Snap-on Franchisee Robby Schultz is this week’s Nitro Franchisee. Robby was a lineman for a power company before he became a franchisee nine years ago. He says he got up his courage one day and decided to make a difference for himself by getting into a Snap-on business. During the week, you’ll find him calling on local auto shops and plants around here, but during his free time you’ll find him saltwater fishing or hunting. This weekend, you might just see him in Cruz’s pit having his picture taken in front of the Snap-on Toyota with his name on it.
