Traxxas and Courtney Force Unveil New Look for Western Swing and Fox National Audience
Courtney Force and the Traxxas Funny Car team head to Bandimere Speedway this weekend for the Mopar Mile High NHRA Nationals. As the team gears up for the grueling Western Swing, there is a surprise waiting for race fans. For those attending the race in person, and fans who will be catching the action on FOX, the new look on the Traxxas Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car will definitely get some attention.

“What a season it has been for the Fastest Name in Radio Control,” said Force. “We’ve had probably the most consistent race car to date and that excites me as a driver. We’ve already picked up a win and looking for at least one more along the Western Swing. After the excitement we had over the new body and color scheme we ran in Chicago only, I am so thrilled to unveil yet another new paint scheme for Denver! I love being able to have something different and unique on the track that really represents the Traxxas brand. I hope the fans love this one as much as I do.”
Marketing Manager at Traxxas, Damron Atkins conveyed the company’s excitement about the new look and upcoming plans going into the NHRA Countdown. “Everyone at Traxxas is excited about Courtney’s win in Houston this year and we want to add some additional excitement for fans going into the Countdown. Courtney’s Traxxas Camaro is always one of the fastest on the track, and the electrifying-neon paint scheme that we designed for the Western Swing will look even better in the winner’s circle! The plan is to unveil a new speed-inspired design every month with the hope of motivating race fans to cheer Courtney on to her first funny car championship!”
Of course, it’s not just the new paint scheme that has Courtney looking forward to racing in Denver. This Sunday will be the first of four races to be broadcast to an unprecedented live audience on FOX national TV, an exciting new frontier for the sport.
“I am really excited to be racing in Denver and also to have the Western Swing on the FOX national broadcast network. There are so many fans that will be able to see the great new look of this Traxxas Camaro, and we also want to put on a good show. We have had great shows on FS1 and now the move over to FOX will be so exciting for the whole sport. This new Traxxas look will get a lot of attention, and I love how we get to switch up the look of my Funny Car for the Western Swing.”
The switch over to FOX brings a whole new audience in to watch the racing action live on Sunday July 24th starting at 3:00pm ET. This, combined with the new paint scheme on the Traxxas Funny Car, means that there will be a lot of eyes watching on race day.
