He defeated Charlie Westcott Jr. (6.600/210.70 to 8.839/109.40), Drew Skillman (6.617/210.73 to 6.723/210.73), and Kenny Delco (6.601/211.39, no time recorded for Delco) in the first three rounds of eliminations to reach the final round against Jason Line. “This place is without a doubt my favorite race track and has been since day one,” Anderson said. “You just feel great coming in; you come in with all kinds of confidence. The fans here really appreciate Pro Stock and I love racing in front of them. I love coming up here and putting on a great show, and raising that trophy at the end of the day.”

Greg is currently second in the Pro Stock points standings.

JASON LINE Summit Racing Equipment Chevrolet Camaro SS
Jason Line qualified Number One for the fifth time this season with a 6.519/212.83 pass. Line cut a -0.024 second red light in the final, giving teammate Greg Anderson the automatic win.

“As always, my Summit Racing Chevrolet Camaro ran good; it ran really good. We qualified Number One and had a car capable of winning,” said Line. “We lost lane choice in the final and I had to go for it. It was still a great weekend though.”

Line remains the Pro Stock points leader.

TIM WILKERSON Ford Shelby Mustang Nitro Funny Car
Tim Wilkerson qualified eleventh with a 4.033/310.91 run. He ran his best time of the weekend in Round One of eliminations, defeating Chad Head 3.999/318.77 to 4.551/225.11. Wilkerson lost a very close race with Jeff Diehl in Round Two, 4.292/270.75 to 4.264/272.45.

“We struggled in qualifying,” Wilkerson said. “The track gave us a little bit of trouble. In the fourth round of qualifying the (blower) belt just fell off of the engine. It wasn’t anything we were really worried about. We did really well in the first round (of eliminations) but in round two, I really let the race track beat me. So, we go to the next race and try our best.”

Wilkerson is currently fourth in the Funny Car points standings.

Kenny Lang did not qualify for the event, running a best of 6.194/239.10 in the final round of qualifying.
