Busy month of May; both KKR teams in top three of championship standings

May is always a crazy month in the Charlotte area, but it’s a good one. With two consecutive weeks of racing and our annual Fan Day being held, there’s a lot of great fans at KKR to check the facility out.

On May 26th we had over 400 fans tour through the race shop and store. Kasey, Brad and Daryn all signed autographs for 200 fans, and MRN’s Winged Nation presented by Sage Fruit broadcast live from the event as well as their MAVTV television show.

With the Fan Day event, we saw a really nice month with KKR’s social media numbers on both Twitter (@KKRdirt) and Facebook (facebook.com/KaseyKahneRacing.) Between the two, we were able to generate over 1.2M impressions on social media this month.

On track update…

Brad and the No. 49 team picked up their sixth win of the season, and first of 2016 with Ollie’s Bargain Outlet on board as primary sponsor at Plymouth. They continue to lead the point standings by 37 points.

Daryn and the No. 9 Great Clips team have hit their stride, winning their fourth race of the year at New Egypt on May 24th. It was Pittman’s fourth-consecutive win at the track dating back to 2012.
