JOHN FORCE RACING TO GET POWER FROM E3 SPARK PLUGS STARTING IN 2016

BROWNSBURG, IND (December 10, 2015) – John Force Racing and E3 Spark Plugs are excited to announce a multi-year sponsorship beginning with the 2016 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season. The 18-time NHRA Funny Car championship team will run E3 Racing Spark Plugs in all three Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Cars as well as the Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster.

“When I first met the guys from E3 I was excited. I’ve see how they activate in the marketplace with NHRA and other teams. It seemed like they were everywhere I looked on TV and billboards. I wanted to be part of that and I like the way to they go to market. The spark plug is the heartbeat of a nitro engine, and we are excited to start a relationship with E3,” said John Force, 16-time Funny Car champion and driver of the PEAK Antifreeze Chevy Funny Car. “They understand the needs of a racer and winning. Getting to work with Don Ward again was really exciting for me. They know we can be hard on parts and plugs, so E3 Spark Plugs is a perfect fit for us.”

E3 Spark Plugs has been the official spark plug of NHRA since 2013. The John Force Racing program is a direct result of that relationship and will complement E3’s new line of racing spark plugs as well as the premium OE replacement line of automotive, small-engine, and power-sports plugs.

“We are beyond excited to have John and his championship winning race teams part of the E3 family for 2016 and beyond,” said Steve Joiner, VP of Sales & Marketing for E3. “After all John Force is synonymous with drag racing. His team’s commitment and dedication to winning mirrors our commitment to excellence in every facet of our business. It’s not often that a company has the opportunity to join with a legendary organization like John Force Racing, and we couldn’t be happier. We are looking forward to a long and victorious relationship.”

On Friday at the annual PRI Show at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis John Force will be in the E3 Spark Plugs booth (#2630) from 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. signing autographs and talking with show attendees.
