JFR GETS AUTO CLUB FINALS STARTED WITH MULTIPLE FAN EVENTS
POMONA, CA (November 9, 2015) — As the 2015 NHRA season comes to a close with the running of the 51st annual Auto Club Finals in Pomona the drivers of John Force Racing will be spending time with their thousands of fans before they hit the track.
Starting with a two hour appearance tomorrow at Mark Christopher Chevrolet in Ontario fans will have their first chance to see all four John Force Racing drivers. In addition to the drivers John Force’s all white Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car and Courtney Force’s Traxxas Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car will be on display. The event starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m. with drivers signing and posing for photos with fans throughout the evening.
“We love racing at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona because it is our home track. We also love being able to see our fans before the races at all the appearances. We are excited to be going back to Mark Christopher Chevrolet. Chevy has been a great partner for JFR this season and we had a great time earlier this year at Mark Christopher before the Winternationals,” said Robert Hight, two-time Funny Car winner in 2015.
“Being a part of the NHRA FanFest in LaVerne is also really cool. My Auto Club Chevy Camaro will be on display and there will be a ton of fans. I hope everyone goes and sees Courtney at Pacific Coast Hobbies and then heads over to see the rest of the JFR team at Lordsburg Taphouse,” added Hight.
On Thursday afternoon fans of Traxxas and Courtney Force can meet the 2012 Rookie of the Year at Pacific Coast Hobbies (1747 Pacific Coast Hwy, Lomita, CA, 90717) from 3:30 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. Right after this appearance fans can head over to LaVerne and see the NHRA stars at Lordsburg Taphouse (2335 D. Street, La Verne) for the NHRA FanFest. Enjoy food and drink specials, car displays and meet John Force, Robert Hight, Brittany Force, Courtney Force, plus many other NHRA stars from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. Robert Hight’s Auto Club Chevy Camaro SS Funny Car will be on display.
Qualifying for the 51st annual Auto Club Finals will begin on Friday at 12:45 p.m. at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.
