Scelzi Prepared for New Challenges This Week During World Finals

Inside Line Promotions – FRESNO, Calif. (Nov. 3, 2015) – Dominic Scelzi’s next test will come this weekend as he tackles the Bad Boy Buggies World of Outlaws World Finals.

Scelzi will pilot a Danny Lasoski owned sprint car with the help of George Lasoski, Phil Durst and Lincoln Auto Auction this Thursday through Saturday at The Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, N.C. The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event marks Scelzi’s first race at the 4/10-mile oval.

“I’m really looking forward to the challenge this weekend,” he said. “I’ve never been to the track and I know there will be a lot of the top drivers in the country racing. This is a great opportunity for me.”

Scelzi recorded two top-10 finishes during his debut with Lasoski last month at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb.

“It was a nice surprise to come out of the box so strong,” Scelzi said. “That gives me extra confidence heading into the World Finals. I know the car will be great and I’ll have some excellent crew help. We’ll just need to find a balance and comfort quickly to put ourselves in contention.

“I want to thank Danny and George Lasoski for another opportunity. Also, thanks to Phil Durst and his family for their support. This weekend presents an amazing chance to race against the best of the best.”
