Mooresville, NC. September 29, 2015 – Ryan Blaney and Ford Performance completed a Kentucky Speedway sweep for Roush Yates Engines and Team Penske Saturday night. Blaney now has two victories in 2015 and Team Penske has seven overall team wins in the Xfinity Series.

“A great Discount Tire Ford Mustang,” said Blaney, “We were great all night. It was just a matter getting up the front. Clean air was so important.”

Blaney started the VisitMyrtleBeach.com 300 in the fifth position and was soon out front in his Roush Yates Engines powered FORD Mustang. He had a strong night, leading a race high of 81 laps.

A late race caution, with 9 laps to go put Blaney on the inside pole for the restart. He had a challenging restart and found himself third. Against a competitive field, Blaney battled back to second, before the final caution of the night came out. On the final restart, Blaney started strong on the inside pole and powered into turn 1, taking over the lead. He led the final two laps creating an exciting green-white-checkered finish. With Saturday’s win and teammate Brad Keselowski’s win on July 10th, Team Penske completed the Kentucky sweep for the Xfinity Series in 2015. Blaney has four career Xfinity Series wins in four years, while Team Penske has a total 27 overall victories.

“Ryan showed poise and prowess on the last restart,” said Doug Yates, President & CEO of Roush Yates, “His two victories and eight Top 10 finishes in 11 Xfinity Series races this year are a testament to Ryan’s and Team Penske’s pursuit of winning.”

Roush Fenway Racing driver Chris Buescher leads the Xfinity Series points standing by 19. All four Roush Fenway Racing drivers are in the Top 10 of the Xfinity Series leaderboard with Buescher leading, Darrell Wallace Jr. fifth, Elliott Sadler sixth and Ryan Reed tenth.

The Xfinity Series heads to Dover International Speedway this Saturday for the Hisense 200.
