2014 All In Showdown Results

The 2014 GDRA Racing Season has now come to a close with the final race of the season…. The All In Showdown took place on Sunday, 9/21/14 at Byron Dragway.

It was an exicting day with some very close side by side drag racing. We would like to thank our host track, Byron Dragway and all the track workers for all they have done for us all season. We would also like to thank all our great Sponsors that made this season possible for the racers.

9.50 Class: Jeff Samples wheeling the Awesome Camaro owned by Gerry Burchett was the number 1 Qualifier with a 9.505. Tim Hovey Jr. (9.537) took the first round win over John Lynch Jr. (9.602). In the was Jeff Samples and Tim Hovey Jr. in the Final. Jeff Samples takes the Win to become the 2014 AIS 9.50 Class Champion for his 2nd year in a row!

8.60 Class: Paul Cattoni was the Number 1 Qualifier with a 8.603, Rocket Ron was the Number 2 Qualifier with a 8.608. Rocket Ron took the win over Steve Peterson in round one, Jim Pydo took the win over Pat Shea (red light) in round one, Jim Pydo moved on to second round and took out Paul Cattoni. It was Jim Pydo and Rocket Ron in Final, Rocket takes the Win to become the 2014 AIS 8.60 Class Champion.
