Race Highlights:
Richard Childress Racing teammates finished 11th (Kevin Harvick), 27th (Paul Menard) and 28th (Jeff Burton). 
According to NASCAR’s Post-Race Loop Data Statistics, Harvick completed the sixth-most Green Flag Passes (131) during the 334-lap event, with 76 coming while running in the top 15 (Quality Passes), positioning him third in the loop data category.
The RCR drivers collectively turned 14 of the Fastest Laps Run during the 334-lap race with Menard logging 10, and Burton and Harvick each turning in two.
Burton gained two positions and Menard improved one position in the final 10 percent (34 laps) of the Charlotte 500, ranking them sixth and seventh, respectively, in the category Closers.
Clint Bowyer captured his third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win of the 2012 season and was followed to the finish line by Denny Hamlin, Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle and Kyle Busch.
The next scheduled Sprint Cup Series race is the Kansas 400 at Kansas Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 21. The race is scheduled to be televised live on ESPN beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern Time and broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
