The 16-time NHRA Funny Car world champion will often draw inspiration from movies and weave them into his enthusiastic team meetings or top end interviews. Jurassic World almost gave Force a sense of Déjà vu with regards to his recent battles with his rivals at Don Schumacher Racing.

WARMER TEMPS KEEP JFR QUALIFYING POSITIONS IN CHECK
EPPING, NH – A clear sky and bright sun made for excellent conditions for tens of thousands of fans to enjoy the final day of qualifying for the 3rd annual NHRA New England Nationals. Unfortunately the warmer temperatures did not give the John Force Racing Funny Car and Top Fuel teams a chance to improve on their strong qualifying performances from Friday. Heading into race day John Force will hold onto his No. 3 qualifying position (4.055 seconds) followed by No. 4 Courtney Force (4.059 seconds) and No. 5 Robert Hight (4.068 seconds). This is the best cumulative qualifying performance for the three JFR Funny Cars and just the third time all three have qualified in the top half of the field this season. JFR HEATS UP ON FINAL DAY OF QUALIFYING AT ENGLISHTOWN
ENGLISHTOWN, NJ – The sun came out and the temperature rose today at the 46th annual NHRA Toyota Summernationals giving the Mello Yello Drag Racing Series teams a whole new outlook for qualifying and racing tomorrow. Fortunately John Force Racing stepped up across the board posting improved times and consistently quick elapsed times heading into Sunday. JFR CHEVROLET FUNNY CARS AND MONSTER TOP FUELER READY FOR RACE DAY
COMMERCE, GA – At the end of a busy two days of qualifying that saw John Force Racing unveil Brittany Force’s Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster on Friday and John Force run to the No. 2 qualifying spot in the Peak Anti-Freeze and Coolant Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car JFR is positioned for a successful race day at Atlanta Dragway. Courtney Force will go into race day as the No. 10 qualifier in the Traxxas Chevy Camaro SS and defending Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals champion Robert Hight will enter race day as the No. 14 qualifier, the same position from which he won the 2007 Auto Club Finals.
Track conditions proved tricky for every driver and crew chief competing in the various Mello Yello Drag Racing Series classes today. MONSTER ENERGY TOP FUEL DRAGSTER UNVEILED AT NHRA SOUTHERN NATIONALS

ATLANTA, GA (May 15, 2015) —- The Monster Energy Top Fuel dragster was unveiled today in the John Force Racing pit area. On a Wednesday national teleconference Monster Energy was announced as the primary sponsor for third year pro Brittany Force. The multi-year agreement will start this weekend at Atlanta Dragway.

“I am so excited to be sponsored my Monster Energy. I have to thank my team and everyone at John Force Racing for getting this bad ass looking Top Fuel dragster decaled and ready to race,” said Brittany Force, just before the tarp was lifted from her 10,000 horsepower Top Fuel Dragster.

JOHN FORCE EYES SOUTHERN NATIONALS FOR SECOND WIN OF 2015
ATLANTA, GA (May 14, 2015) — The last time John Force was in the final round of the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals he was racing for his 1,000th round win at his 500th race. It was 2008 and he was on the cusp of setting a record that no one would ever be able to touch. One more round win and he would be able to forever claim that for 500 straight races he averaged a semi-final finish. Prior to the start of John Force’s Q&A Funny Car driver Jack Beckman was asked about his personal highlight of the season. He talked about the time he has spent raising awareness for veterans and then he offered some thoughts on John Force.
“I want to say one more thing. I know John Force doesn’t like to get his back patted here. But I wish sometime, and you have to ask his brother Walker, because John will never take credit for this, if you asked him to briefly list some of the stuff, it would take four hours to do, the things that John does for fans and other racers, and never wants any credit for that. I also got to say this. Maybe one of the highlights of my career, it’s something I can’t wait to tell my grandkids, is that I got to race against John Force. In baseball, you have a pretty limited career because of your physical capabilities. In drag racing, guys like (indiscernible) has proved that if you take care of your eyes you can stay in a car till an advanced age. At 65, John is still the toughest Funny Car driver out there. There’s no question in my mind there’s a little bit extra when John Force is in the other lane. Because you can compete at different ages in this sport, it would be like a Little League player getting to grow up and play against Babe Ruth.
