KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 SHARE AN ICE COLD COKE CHEVROLET SS, met with members of the media at Talladega Superspeedway and discussed being the point leader through the first quarter of the 2017 season, what he learned about restrictor plate racing at Daytona that he can apply to this weekend’s event at Talladega and many other topics. Full Transcript:

WHAT HAS THIS EXPERIENCE BEEN LIKE FOR YOU LEADING THE POINTS THROUGH A SIGNIFICANT PART OF THE SEASON? HOW HAS THAT CHANGED YOUR PERSPECTIVE AS A DRIVER?
“Yeah it’s been cool. I expected to… well I wanted to start the season off good. I didn’t know I would start the season off being the point leader and carrying it through like we have been. It’s just been a lot of fun to show up to the race track knowing we’ve got a fast car and capable of winning almost every race. Just got to keep, myself, got to keep working hard, everybody at the race shop needs to keep working hard to build on what we currently have and make it even better. Just enjoying my time right now and having fun each and every week. If we can have some more solid runs and continue to lead the points.” Continue reading Chevy Racing–NASCAR–Talladega–Kyle Larson

NHRA Southern Nationals

Pre-Race Report

After some promising testing results, Cruz Pedregon and team are heading to Atlanta. “The testing we just completed is going to pay off for us in Atlanta. I put down a career best time earlier this week with the changes we made, so we’re excited to see what car will do for us in the weekend ahead,” said Cruz. “We pushed the Snap-on on Toyota during the 4-wide and made some adjustments, but knew testing would offer up some good information before we took on the Atlanta Dragway,” said Pedregon.

Crew Chief Aaron Brooks says, “We’re really proud of what we got out the testing Monday, and we’re confident it’s going to be valuable for Atlanta and beyond. The weather is something we’re watching closely, since it’s supposed to be quite a bit cooler in Georgia. Come out to the track or watch the NHRA race coverage on FOX, because we’re expecting big things from Cruz and the car.”

Scelzi Rallies From 16th to Fifth at Silver Dollar to Earn First Top Five of Season

Inside Line Promotions – PETALUMA, Calif. (May 2, 2017) – Dominic Scelzi posted his first top-five finish of the season last Friday at Silver Dollar Speedway, where he kicked off the weekend with a stout performance.

Scelzi and his Roth Motorsports backed, family owned team faced trouble during the opening portion of the night at the quarter-mile oval in Chico, Calif.

“We blew a driveline in hot laps,” he said. “We had to change the rear end and change everything. We missed qualifying, but got everything back together in time for the heat race. We couldn’t get the motor to run because we had a new fuel tank and ran into a problem with the filter so we didn’t even take the green flag in the heat race.” Continue reading Scelzi Rallies From 16th to Fifth at Silver Dollar to Earn First Top Five of Season

“Atlanta is going to be tough for our guys,” Force said. “They headed back to Indianapolis on Monday morning to ‘front-half’ the car and then get it over to Atlanta for the weekend. It’s a lot of work but I know the guys can do it.” Continue reading Brittany Force ready to battle in Atlanta with updated Monster Energy dragster
