Race Highlights:
Richard Childress Racing teammates finished 11th (Kevin Harvick), 12th (Paul Menard) and 15th (Jeff Burton).
According to NASCAR’s Loop Data Statistics, Harvick was the sixth-Fastest Driver Late In a Run (126.160 mph) and averaged a Green-Flag Speed of 126.706 mph, positioning him sixth amongst all competitors.
RCR teammates Kevin Harvick and Paul Menard collectively turned nine of the Fastest Laps Run, ranking seventh and 15th, respectively.
Harvick spent 298 Laps in the Top 15, while Menard ran in the top 15 for 267 laps, ranking them fourth and ninth respectively in the Post-Race Loop Data category.
Menard ranked sixth in the NASCAR Loop Data Statistics category Green Flag Passes (55) with 35 of those while running in the top 15, which ranked him sixth in Quality Passes.
Burton ranked first in the NASCAR Loop Data Statistics category of Closers by gaining three positions over the final 10 percent (30 laps) of the race.
Burton made 46 Green Flag Passes during the 300-mile race  
Denny Hamlin captured his third NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win of the 2012 season and was followed to the finish line by Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer and Kasey Kahne.
The next scheduled Sprint Cup Series race is the AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway on Saturday, Sept. 30. The race is scheduled to be televised live on ESPN beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern Time and broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
